My 190e Cosworth got banned from the local tracks so I just built a 2000 GTS to fit in. It’s the mini stock for a 1/4 mile circle track. 2700lbs with me in it. Just fixed the lift/flange bolts. Any tips for power and traction? Thanks.
Sweet! this is one of the celebrity pro race cars right? One just sold on bring a trailer, wonder if this might be the same car. Would love more details on the setup. Lift appears to engage somewhere close to 5800rpm, so it's definitely got some tricks up its sleeve! Sound is a bit nuts - way too loud haha. I have a 2005 GTS, have tracked it once, I do worry about the oiling issues though. Does this car have a dry sump or any type of aftermarket oiling system?
Armstrong Racing I have since sold the car but I was running a Centerforce clutch and Quaife Diff. Was super solid and gave me no issues. Axles were the weak spot in the car.

Not much. The engine itself is stock aside from pulleys and headers. Mostly suspension and weight reduction.

+nextrider123 those the main keys. Suspension made a huge difference 15" wheels and Hoosier help make it all work. Oh and a LSD is a must.

is this just headers? no pipe? what is lift? i keep hearing it in celica stuff
headers and straight exhaust no muffler. lift is when the VVT kicks in around 6000-6200
