Begadi has a new high end hopup made specifically for Cyma MP5
The Magpul front stock makes it look so nice! And then I stuck MP10 mag in it and my head fell off. Then I stuck a Perun controller and WARHead brushless in it and both my arms exploded.
cyma makes the best mp5s especially for how cheap they are since u need to buy them overseas .....elite force rebrands them with official h&k trades but charge almost 1.5x of the original cost after they gut out the internals for lower performance parts

The same handguards that fit the cyma also fit the VFC as they are both real type fitting
cyma could make a stamped steel version of this and they would sell like hotcakes
The one I owned, and my friends, both had some external parts that broke a bit to easy. Like the slingmount that broke from using it as a slingmount. And it was also very heavy, more than a 14" M4. But the gearbox was supernice!
I’ve never seen that dual plug feature on many airsoft guns! The ability to have your battery in both the front or back is a game changer. What was the cyma product name? CM. 041J?
Seconding this question! There are a couple different CYMA MP5 models, and having two plugs stock out of the box is awesome! Please share the model!
My first aeg was a cyma mp5, good times
I just got the platinum a week ago and love it. still need to get out there and field it. its a more tactical version with mlok and an integrated claw mount but the best feature is the platinum gearbox. while the etu leave a lot to be desired the trigger response on a titan li ion is still insane. i still need some 11.1s that will fit. the only downside besides the etu which you will probably replace with an aster or perun hybrid anyways is the battery space. you only have the stock tube but you can still change it to whatever.
I have a CYMA MP5 with a polarstar jack . aside from the hopup its a replica that has yet to let me down. Only body modification was a strip of tape to take up some stock wiggle.
A thing everyone should know about the CYMA high-speed MP5s; the 13:1 gears are short stroked by 2 teeth straight out of the box (at least my MP5SD6 was). I didn't have a chrono at home, and I assumed the power would be over the 1 joule CQB limit, so I threw in a M90 spring (it has a quick change gearbox). Imagine my surprise when I went to the arena and the gun chrono was 0.33 joules. I had so shoot people so many times bc they did not feel the hits :D
my favourite accessory for mp5 is the slim 1970s-style foregrip, because i like retro stuff.
unfortunately, you can't use it with collapsible stock, because there's no room for battery.
Just letting you know, in some states like New York, you cannot buy anything from Taiwangun. They won’t ship to you. Get a friend who lives just over the border of another state like Vermont or Massachusetts.
There are some very good aftermarket hop-ups available in European retailers.
I use a g&p surefire light handgaurd. But I change the light to real surefire g2 light. Alot better 320 lmns. Tiawangun is my supplement for cyma mp5s.
I have a cyma platinum mp5. I love it as a indoor gun but it is heavy as a pig due to all the metal parts (handguard, mock bolt, etc). The motor is not great for any spring stronger than m110. I heard cyma's trigger mosfet will crap sooner than later but perun exist so no a big deal. The selector is a bit lose and often flip to full auto by accident. All in all I love my but I need to sell it to fund my VFC sopmd m4 that I got from Amped for TF Keg ❤❤

I love the mp5 platform, but I the hop units are so bad. Maybe I had bad luck but they sometimes even "bounce" back from the hop rubber so I can never get a flat trajectory
How does a mosfet work in this since it's wired to the front and back? Does that change anything?
Elite Force basically just puts trades on these CYMA’s and charge more for them. IMO I don’t care for trades, as long as it’s a good, solid gun that I can upgrade is all that matters IMO
Nice trades do look good, but mp5 trades are barely visible, and if you make a nice paint job, its really no issue that it lacks trades

i have the classic army handguard with flashlight built in. I agree, the flashlight looks cool and has a cool "warm" look but not very good, and the button placement kinda sucks ass.

VFC mp5 has no right being so flimsy for what they want you to pay. Your essentially paying a mark up for a gun with the build quality of a cyma. I’ve had the VFC elite force Mp5 for little over a year and already the threaded tri-lug piece has snapped off and cannot go back on, and that’s just from the gun falling over inside a storage closet. It’s crazy. The charging handle snapped off and so did the front sight post and rear sight post from just being drop around while inside a padded gun bag from the closet to the trunk of the car. It’s a padded case and it was never thrown, only plopped less then a foot drop. Even iPhones can survive higher drops then that. It’s pathetic. VFC is dubious, at this point I can’t believe it but I’m seriously considering a cyma mp5 😂

Dude, you are so right. It's an exelent replica. I replaced the whole gearbox with a Double eagle QC gearbox with a Falcon FCU (with some sanding) and it's an exelent SMG. And I wholeheartedly agree on the Classic Army Surefire forend: sick as heck but almost unusable out-of-the-box. I like, that the hop adjusts from the ejection port; however I must say that myne stays in place (I tightend the pins and screws on the unit).
