Ha! You answered the question in my thoughts about why the flowers purchased are stronger than when I make them myself. I've tried making them thicker & not as nice. I keep a number of pre-made flowers on hand. Always peek at the clearance section before checking out! Not worth the trouble to make them myself (she says after spending almost a day making sunflowers!). FYI, I used my Martellato dahlia cutters which are pretty nice for sunflowers.
Where can you find pre made gumpaste flowers? I love your videos. They're so precise in every detail and the only ones I have found to actually be helpful! Thank you so much for making these! As an ambitious starting pastry chef I am thankful I stumbled across you!

I'm so glad the video answered some of your questions!
Lo pintas con colorante en polvo?, hay que humedecer el pincel?. Gracias por adelantado, es precioso el trabajo que haces. Un saludo.
Do you have a tutorial on how you did the spray please?
Presentation is good. It's just that we can't see what he is demonstrating because there is less close-up shots on the flowers.

very helpful video! I've heard some people hold the finished painted flower over boiling water to "steam it" is this step necessary? 🤔
It is not necessary but it does "set" the petal dust and gives the flowers a bit of a shine.
Fantastic!!!
