- How to secure each stem of a small spray with florist tape, and then plan and place each section in order to then create a final floral piece to add to any cake. Step by step, in planning the design and working in odd numbers.
You are the best tutor, as you take the time to show your work UP CLOSE to the camera, which is so appreciated, as it can be quite difficult to see! Thankyou for thaat, I am going to enjoy following your tutorials, and trying to be more enthusiastic making wired flower sprays...you have re-inspired me thankyou!

Kimberly Richards your most welcome I am so pleased to hear the video helped. I searched the internet myself for guidance, so when I realised there was not much out there I wanted to help others with their arrangements. Feel free to request any tutorials so I know what to share next. Happy baking!
Beautiful work. Thank you for this tutorial.
Annalis Wilson thank you. Your are most welcome. I hope it helps with your own creations. Thank you for tuning in!
how large would the larger flowers be...i.e.2 inches or 3 inches across? dont know how big to make them x great tutorial
The largest is just 1 and a half inch across not too big.. with the red roses tutorial these roses are smaller, maybe just 1/2 inch across. As you make them and practice you will get a feel for the sizing that you like. If you allow the petals on the outer side to sit out further then you can achieve a larger looking rose without using bigger cutters. And when they sit in tighter to the bud, then you have a more petite rose.
@@cakemebysurprise thanks you are very kind to reply..many dont! i can make flowers but its the wiring i am new to
@@jibobit my pleasure. Yes the wiring can be so tricky !
Thank you for the tutorial really informative. My only question is how do you attach the beautiful bouquet to the cake .
You can use a florist pick, insert the end of the bouquet into the pick and then insert directly into the cake. Hopefully that makes sense? Glad you found the tutorial helpful.
SO helpful! Thank you!!! 💛
Thanks very much! Exactly what i was looking for.. 💓
Excellent tutorial.....thanks a million
would this look ok if i added white flowers as well? not very good at visuallising!
Yes absolutely!
do you have the jasmine bud tutorial please
what guage wire are the flowers on please. will 20g do?
Use 24 as the best option.
are the flowers all on same thickness wire please
I use 24 and 26 gauge wires. For lighter weight flowers or leaves you can use higher numbers. Sometimes a 28 gauge.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful tutorial! Do you have a tutorial for the roses?
Your welcome. I don't at present but more than happy to out a tutorial up of how to make each flower if requested . I'll add this to my filming list for you.
Great 👍🏼
Thank you how do you just lay on top of cake without it falling off
Hi Lucy. I add the flowers once the cake is in place and will not be moved at the venue. They can simply sit on top of the cake. But you can also add a florist tip to the end of the arrangement where there is excess wire and then insert the whole arrangement into the cake if it is sitting on the side of the cake for example and it should hold. I'll often add some royal icing to the back of the flowers to 'glue' it to the cake if I need more confidence that it will hold.
do you have tutorial on the actually roses please
ua-cam.com/video/TgLwsvYpn7M/v-deo.htmlsi=rDb_9ALi8-HveB6p Here is the tutorial where you can learn how to make the roses. ❤
very beautiful
printable instructions with photos.so I can remember how to do the flowers
The roses don’t have caylxs
You do not see the bottom of the roses so here I choose not to add them. But it is completely up to you on this one. Of course you can add Caylxs.
