I have to take this time to compliment the people who operate the Metro system. They are very efficient and polite. My Russian is very bad and I don't understand much but on my last trip, I was alone and accidentally took the metro in the wrong direction. I went to the end of the line and everybody got off. It puzzled me and I just sit there wondering what I should do. The Metro didn't move and the operator then got out of the operators cabinet and told me something. It was in Russian and I only understood that he wanted me off, so I got off. I stood on the platform dazed and confused as two officers and a metro official talked to me. They were trying to tell me that I could go back the other way, but I didn't understand. I called a friend of mine and told him what happened and then he led me to understand that I had went the wrong direction. I went back and all was well. My hat is off to the metro officials and those who work there. You do a great job.
