Jealousy is not always about $$ or things. People have always been jealous of me and I do not have any money or lots of fancy things. People are jealous of my spirit and the way I carry myself. It's sad because I'm an only child who values friendships, and if not careful, will find myself at the end of a "dagger". So to speak.
Omg.... i always felt people were jealous of me only because people would tell me they were and im like " why? I dont have squat" lol. I dont have anything and they have way more (material wise) but i guess it is because the way i carry myself.

All my life people have been jealous of me for one reason or another. Then in my early 20s I found myself seething with jealousy against a friend of mine. I got a hold of myself, as being a victim of jealousy in the past, I knew that what I was feeling was wrong. So I rationalized with myself. 'There will always be people in a better position than myself. I should be happy that my friend has been blessed. If not her it would be someone else. And she's a good person, that's why I love her. If not me, then who better to be blessed?' Im glad I got over those feelings of jealousy and we went on to have great times together. Since then I've had many blessings myself and I try to maintain an attitude of gratitude daily.

Get away from jealous people, when God gives you discernment about a person always trust and obey the Lord. Get away from them. It’s ok to walk by yourself. The only person you really need is the Lord. It’s not worth it. I’ve cut a lot of people out because of this. Also don’t make everyone a friend. People have categories. Yeah you have to ne careful with certain family members too. The Bible let us know that Cain killed his brother because he was jealous of him. People try to act like someone being jealous hearted is no big deal. But someone that have this spirit attached to them can be deadly and dangerous.
I was once jealous of a friend and I prayed to God to remove the spirit of jealousy in me and help me be content with what I have am who I am. I distanced myself from that friend for a while to fight that spirit and now I don't feel jealous of her anymore. Am happy with her and now I even pray for her success. GOD is a good GOD

I used to be jealous of my friends in highschool because they were academically successful. Being jealous drained me and made me feel like I couldn’t achieve anything. Instead of being jealous, I decided I’d work on myself and God. Now I’m not jealous of them. I see their success and use it as motivation. If they can do this, I can do it too.

Well said Ree Ree, I couldn't agree with you more. And surely, it's not just friends or acquaintances, but individual family members can be among those possessed with that very dangerous spirit of jealousy. Jealous individuals are not safe to be around, especially in a close way. Also, sadly for some married folks, their spouse can sometimes be their greatest enemy if that deadly spirit of jealousy is found in them too.
My friend is the most humble person I know,she has been through a lot and when she was suffering she also had other friends who were with her,then she gave her life to Christ and God started working and blessing her,first she got a man who loved her and is ready for marriage and now all those ladies are the one trying to destroy her,some got angry at her for no reason and just stopped talking to her,they all didn't want her being better than them,they wanted her to remain in pain and depending on them for everything and stay single,am just happy God revealed their real selves to her,now all she has is God and me...I keep sharing with her everything I find on UA-cam that's Godly and that uplifts her spirit and makes her relationship with God even stronger.
I have always been a private person and now I am even more after paying closer attention to the people around me. I have always been an extreme observer of people in my inner circle. I had a supervisor that was super jealous....I just tried to ignore the stuff she would do. I prayed to God to move me or move her....I went on medical leave and she text me and another co-worker that she was resigning but the story when I got back is that she was given the option to resign before she was fired. She was causing a lot of discord in the office between a whole lot of employees. I've learned to let God handle things. He knows what is best.
I go through this all the time, that's why I work in silence and pray that God will continue to guide me every day. This is such a blessing to hear and understand through God's word.

I have been on the receiving end of jealous people literally intending to destroy me! Then I watched the reward of calamity fall upon them! The saying is "the hole you dig for me, will be the hole you dig for yourself." When you said, be careful what you share with people about yourself, immediately my mind went to the story of Joseph and how he bragged to his brother's about his dream. Joseph was already his father's favored and he knew it, but he bragged to his brother's, because he knew they rejected him, just because he was more favored by their Dad Jacob/Israel. And because he felt the animosity of his brother's, that foolish spirit in him, caused him to tell that dream to them to infuriate them even the more! So Joseph got what was coming to him, but exactly not what he asked for. BUT God's Grace saves even fools, and restores to them what the Enemy tried to steal, kill and destroy you with. I learned early in my 20s not to be jealous of people. There's just some people, who are going to be prettier, richer, smarter, and maybe more favored than me in life and I accepted that, and still accept it till this day, Amen 🙏🏽💜💓
The exact same thing happened to me when I thought this so called girl was my friend GOD started to give me a Discerning feeling in my gut that she was jealous of me on many levels even when I tell her about other men of all races came onto me but her comments bk would always be negative. So not only did GOD point out her jealous towards me but so did my mom my mother ended up telling me the exact same thing GOD had put in me about her and when my mom shared it with me she said that GOD told her to tell me to be careful with this so called friend because she envy’s me WOW . But am loving her from a long long distance now ha.
I had the same thing something similar.i am just trying to move forward without even looking back..she hurt and she destroy.. I am allowing myself to move forward 10 time harder and keep focusing on my goals.. this is why I deleted my Instagram account just because of this..

My Narcissist ''Friend'' would cut me off and over talk me while I was talking and switch the topic back to herself, Walk in front of me so she could be in the lead, When I became engaged the Jealously and Envy got worse. She did not like the attention I was getting from my ring so she started wearing random rings on her ring finger even though she is not engaged all because she was Jealous of me. Now that I am married (June 8th 2019) She has been stalking and watching my evert move, trying to steal my friends, make up lies about me, mimic and copy my personality and even started acting like me, She asked my Nail Tech what color she pained my nails for my wedding day than got the same color. This women is so Insecure Jealous, Envious, and Spiteful and was never truly happy for me. She was always in competition with me.

Whew!.....The truth. This is dead on with my own close family members. I love them but I have to deal with certain people that literally have bold jealousy for me. And yes, I have found that I have to use extreme wisdom. All I can do is pray for them as I guard my heart and life because I can't let them hinder the work that God has for me. I think God is teaching me about jealous people and how to deal with them this season. It was just yesterday I remembered the things a friend did to me a year ago. When I analyzed everything, I realized she must have been so jealous bcoz I hadn't done anything to her to deserve all that she did. She campaigned so much to have me thrown out of the hostel but all that time I was on my knees crying out to God. Everyone hated me for nothing bcoz she bad mouthed me. At the end of the day it was her who was forced out
I had a friend, very close friend who, when I got pregnant with my 4th child (he was not planned), told me that she had had an abortion in the past and she said :"I just went to clinic, had it done, left and never looked back." I decided to keep my baby, though and he is 2 and a half at the moment. I love him more than anything. My point is, that when my baby boy was 6 months, she told me with tears in her eyes that she had thought about her aborted baby almost everyday...I was shocked. I could have had an abortion based on her first advice, thinking that it would not have an impact on me...When I got a job, she never congratulated me but kept quiet. I really tried to understand her way of acting but I think, Im done with this friendship...
I had to let my best friend of 30 plus years go..she was so negative towards me and when I purchased my 1st home she came and buried her head in a magazine didnt even want to see the house...
Sad part is this spirit afflicts family members more than ever. You can have the spirit of love and let it flow, yet those who are infected with this poison can’t be happy even when you pour the love into them. They just want what you have ON THE INSIDE. Yeah. Social media also brings out the devil in people. I’ve had people steal my words, copy my hair, hate me from the moment they saw my relationship, etc. it broke me for a long time and I turned into the very people that did those things to me. Bitter, jealous and crazy! The Most High is bringing me out but it’s a daily battle.

Sometimes it's best to ask that person why they stopped talking... I recently stopped talking to someone because of some things shes done and I finally was fed up...maybe go to her and ask sometimes things can be fixed or it's a misunderstanding...in my case however it's been things happening over YEARS and one day it was just the last straw for me...but go and ask her...if she doesnt reach back out to you then at least you know you tried.

Wowwwwww!! This is soooo timely!! I've been praying and asking God to send God ordained friends for me as this week has been such a pivotal one for me as I've chosen to end a friendship that I knew was one based on jealousy. II have to admit that I was not one to recognize jealousy and still don't to this day as it is not something that I resonate with. I have had others who I was told eventually were jealous but theirs were not as obvious as this particular individual. This particular lady would compete with everything I'm doing. Funny thing is that in the physical, she has so many more "things" than I do and earns significantly more than I do (she owns a car and her own home- I still use public transportation and rent). I've had to wage through some real spiritual warfare which I have been sharing with her as well so I valued that aspect of our friendship, but I digress. For years, she has always and I mean always copied everything that I did, pictures, poses, captions, makeup, literally everything that she can get her eyes on, she would try to recreate it. She was also the girl who insisted that everyone was jealous and envious of her and also basked in the glory of someone else's boyfriend being interested in her (the spirits that ease themselves into our lives, sighs). EVeryone kept telling me that she was not a friend but I chose to still be her friend because despite her having all of these "things" I knew she was a very unhappy and miserable girl and I'm not even saying this to be malicious. (She battled depression, suicidal thoughts and men doing some really cruel things to her etc). Everything that I did, she would always try to one up me but I started realising it evidently when we went out to the club earlier this year (which was veryyyy rare)and a guy was showing me interest. Being the person that I am, I'm not pushy nor do I throw myself unto men, if they're giving me the googly eyes lol I let them come to me etc. She saw this happening and decided to force herself unto the guy who was trying to speak to me all night. Of course I let her because although he was cute, I didn't get the move in my spirit that I usually would lol. Everytime she saw him coming to speak to me, she placed herself between us to block the conversation from happening. By the end of the night, she was wrapped around him as though they were a couple. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago, same thing happened this time at a wedding. Strangely enough the guy that she continued to throw herself on to, made it quite clear that he liked us both but he wanted to get to know me more lol. Again I wasn't interested so I allowed her her antics. Couple days after that, we're out hanging and a young man made a comment about me being so different and special and that there was something about me that he couldn't resist. Immediately after that, she started to throw so much shade at me and was terribly mean because I got complimented from a man she couldn't manipulate (her tool for manipulation is her body as she uses it to sexualize everything and attract these men). She has made very rude comments to me in the past as well, very very rude and I always chalked it up to not taking any offence because I knew her history and always thought that she was inherently miserable anyway. God had also been working in my spirit and letting me know that I needed to shed some things and I got a feeling that my relationship with her was one. When it happened, I smiled and thanked God even though she started to post very cryptic shady messages lol. I'm in my early 30's and have lost all three of what I considered my closest friends within the last year. They've all been doing some shady toxic things and I feel very strongly that God is working these things through for me.

I can agree with your story because I have also been down that path with close friends. Honestly, I'm not very open with people anyway and I suspect everyone as the bible says to guard your hearts. Everyone is not for you and it's great to have discernment when it comes to this so you can avoid so much unnecessary pain.. Treat people nice but monitor there actions and words cause it will reveal their fruits. I still have a few good Godly friends that I can count on one hand but sometimes the people who you thought were your closest cannot always go with you in your journeys and God is showing me this currently.

Sighs...I always thought I had discernment however as I'd mentioned before I was under heavy spiritual attack for yearsssssss and hadn't the slightest clue; it just drove me to extreme frustrations and disenchantment which I am convinced was the devil's plan for my life but my God was like "Not my child" lol. My heart has always been pure and devoid of those feelings of jealousy and envy and I believe that was the opening in which the enemy used to attack. It is hard for me to recognize when persons are jealous of me simply because I honestly don't know how to identify something that isn't a part of me inherently. Sadly, that spirit came with the presence of 2 of my closest friends and a couple others along the way (one who verbally pronounced a curse over me and my future children simply because I refused to give her money while she was pregnant). You are surely right however as you see them by their actions and words and definitely know them by their fruit. Both ladies have said and done extremely questionable and hurtful things which I always overlooked as I simply hadn't the desire to focus on their ill actions and feelings towards me and was focused on my own personal struggles. And indeed, there comes a time when the weight can no longer be carried and certainly not in the path that God has for you and if you don't remove it God's faithfulness to you certainly will....

I had a friend who I found out was a narcissist and she always wanted everything I had. Then she would try to get it but never quite measure up to me I ended the friendship it was like watching the dog Chase its tail boring after a while

Which in turn they took the negative talk (gossip) to Saul. They talked about David so much until Saul started to dislike him. Yes. I know my aunt will try to trap and twist things up. She is a very jealous hearted and manipulative person. I still love her, and I will pray for her and minister to her. But I am no fool. She stay trying to ask me if I have talked to other family members, or she will try to say something about my mom and who she hang with. Wow! So I had a friend who is like this, well I thought was a friend and she did me really dirty. She was very jealous when God was working in my life and continued to use me as a measuring stick. I was afraid of being lonely so I didn’t cut it off sooner. I tried to continue being friends and it’s just not working. Now I’m realizing how stuck I am because of my resentment towards her. I realize my hurt and unforgiveness is causing me to be jealous because I feel after being so good to her and being done wrong, why is she getting blessed? Thank you for this! I need to repent of all these ill feelings and cry out to God.

I have to be fearful of the jealousy in ohter people as well as jealousy that may be in me towards others as well. The reasons may not be the five you mentioned but i know I must look at other signs of jealousy that I might have in my own heart towards others.

I only now realize today , I am. dealing with jealous people in business and otherwise. I had realtor to rent property in the past who always sat on it for months and no renters. Now a renter but talking to me with hostility. Appearing to represent the interst of the other unequally, trying to lowball me. Making demands, much drama and surprises. When she finally arrived at a fair rate another caveat thrown in. When I declined she then showed her true colors in the most unproffesional text messages. I only realize now that is jealousy; her feeling she has to feel superior for feeling inferior for "working for me". I don't see it like this but now recognize this is the other's view: Jealousy. Benjamin Franklyn said how others are not happy with another's success. I really could not understand this individual's behavior. I agree! I see it alot in my church too. I wanted to leave my church for the same reason, and I prayed about it, but I believe God is having me to stay put. There is just no perfect place in anything. I joined a prayer group, but found the group to be too clickish and ridiculing. It is so frustrating to feel that you have a level of spiritual discernment, realize that you do, and then recognize people just don't get it like you do. And the same thing, I have met people who are more spiritually aware and discerning than I am. So many people who don't attend church, hate the church just because of the conflicting behavior of individuals, and comparison of the Bible word of God explaining the fruit of the spirit. But I say to judgemental non-church participants, if you know how a Christian is supposed to act, then why are you not attending church. You have to put up with the same behavior outside of the church so what's the difference??? Anyways, I'm trying to stop being long winded in my comments 😂😂

All my life people have been jealous of me for one reason or another. Then in my early 20s I found myself seething with jealousy against a friend of mine. I got a hold of myself, as being a victim of jealousy in the past, I knew that what I was feeling was wrong. So I rationalized with myself. 'There will always be people in a better position than myself. I should be happy that my friend has been blessed. If not her it would be someone else. And she's a good person, that's why I love her. If not me, then who better to be blessed?' Im glad I got over those feelings of jealousy and we went on to have great times together. Since then I've had many blessings myself and I try to maintain an attitude of gratitude daily.

I was once jealous of a friend and I prayed to God to remove the spirit of jealousy in me and help me be content with what I have am who I am. I distanced myself from that friend for a while to fight that spirit and now I don't feel jealous of her anymore. Am happy with her and now I even pray for her success. GOD is a good GOD

I used to be jealous of my friends in highschool because they were academically successful. Being jealous drained me and made me feel like I couldn’t achieve anything. Instead of being jealous, I decided I’d work on myself and God. Now I’m not jealous of them. I see their success and use it as motivation. If they can do this, I can do it too.

My friend is the most humble person I know,she has been through a lot and when she was suffering she also had other friends who were with her,then she gave her life to Christ and God started working and blessing her,first she got a man who loved her and is ready for marriage and now all those ladies are the one trying to destroy her,some got angry at her for no reason and just stopped talking to her,they all didn't want her being better than them,they wanted her to remain in pain and depending on them for everything and stay single,am just happy God revealed their real selves to her,now all she has is God and me...I keep sharing with her everything I find on UA-cam that's Godly and that uplifts her spirit and makes her relationship with God even stronger.

I had a supervisor that was super jealous....I just tried to ignore the stuff she would do. I prayed to God to move me or move her....I went on medical leave and she text me and another co-worker that she was resigning but the story when I got back is that she was given the option to resign before she was fired. She was causing a lot of discord in the office between a whole lot of employees. I've learned to let God handle things. He knows what is best.

I have been on the receiving end of jealous people literally intending to destroy me! Then I watched the reward of calamity fall upon them! The saying is "the hole you dig for me, will be the hole you dig for yourself."
When you said, be careful what you share with people about yourself, immediately my mind went to the story of Joseph and how he bragged to his brother's about his dream. Joseph was already his father's favored and he knew it, but he bragged to his brother's, because he knew they rejected him, just because he was more favored by their Dad Jacob/Israel. And because he felt the animosity of his brother's, that foolish spirit in him, caused him to tell that dream to them to infuriate them even the more! So Joseph got what was coming to him, but exactly not what he asked for. BUT God's Grace saves even fools, and restores to them what the Enemy tried to steal, kill and destroy you with.

My Narcissist ''Friend'' would cut me off and over talk me while I was talking and switch the topic back to herself, Walk in front of me so she could be in the lead, When I became engaged the Jealously and Envy got worse. She did not like the attention I was getting from my ring so she started wearing random rings on her ring finger even though she is not engaged all because she was Jealous of me. Now that I am married (June 8th 2019) She has been stalking and watching my evert move, trying to steal my friends, make up lies about me, mimic and copy my personality and even started acting like me, She asked my Nail Tech what color she pained my nails for my wedding day than got the same color. This women is so Insecure Jealous, Envious, and Spiteful and was never truly happy for me. She was always in competition with me.

I think God is teaching me about jealous people and how to deal with them this season. It was just yesterday I remembered the things a friend did to me a year ago. When I analyzed everything, I realized she must have been so jealous bcoz I hadn't done anything to her to deserve all that she did. She campaigned so much to have me thrown out of the hostel but all that time I was on my knees crying out to God. Everyone hated me for nothing bcoz she bad mouthed me. At the end of the day it was her who was forced out

I had a friend, very close friend who, when I got pregnant with my 4th child (he was not planned), told me that she had had an abortion in the past and she said :"I just went to clinic, had it done, left and never looked back." I decided to keep my baby, though and he is 2 and a half at the moment. I love him more than anything. My point is, that when my baby boy was 6 months, she told me with tears in her eyes that she had thought about her aborted baby almost everyday...I was shocked. I could have had an abortion based on her first advice, thinking that it would not have an impact on me...When I got a job, she never congratulated me but kept quiet. Sad part is this spirit afflicts family members more than ever. You can have the spirit of love and let it flow, yet those who are infected with this poison can’t be happy even when you pour the love into them. They just want what you have ON THE INSIDE. I’m so glad GOD knows. It’s hurtful, but God knows and has given me discernment. I had to leave connections that I never thought I would. I’m praying but moving forward.

Yeah. Social media also brings out the devil in people. I’ve had people steal my words, copy my hair, hate me from the moment they saw my relationship, etc. it broke me for a long time and I turned into the very people that did those things to me. Bitter, jealous and crazy! The Most High is bringing me out but it’s a daily battle.

Sometimes it's best to ask that person why they stopped talking... I recently stopped talking to someone because of some things shes done and I finally was fed up...maybe go to her and ask sometimes things can be fixed or it's a misunderstanding...in my case however it's been things happening over YEARS and one day it was just the last straw for me...but go and ask her...if she doesnt reach back out to you then at least you know you tried.

God is working through this with me to help me heal bc they weren't the only ones. God is placing better people in my life. I love God and I'm thankful.

Wowwwwww!! This is soooo timely!! I've been praying and asking God to send God ordained friends for me as this week has been such a pivotal one for me as I've chosen to end a friendship that I knew was one based on jealousy. II have to admit that I was not one to recognize jealousy and still don't to this day as it is not something that I resonate with. I have had others who I was told eventually were jealous but theirs were not as obvious as this particular individual. This particular lady would compete with everything I'm doing. Funny thing is that in the physical, she has so many more "things" than I do and earns significantly more than I do (she owns a car and her own home- I still use public transportation and rent). I've had to wage through some real spiritual warfare which I have been sharing with her as well so I valued that aspect of our friendship, but I digress. For years, she has always and I mean always copied everything that I did, pictures, poses, captions, makeup, literally everything that she can get her eyes on, she would try to recreate it. She was also the girl who insisted that everyone was jealous and envious of her and also basked in the glory of someone else's boyfriend being interested in her (the spirits that ease themselves into our lives, sighs). EVeryone kept telling me that she was not a friend but I chose to still be her friend because despite her having all of these "things" I knew she was a very unhappy and miserable girl and I'm not even saying this to be malicious. (She battled depression, suicidal thoughts and men doing some really cruel things to her etc). Everything that I did, she would always try to one up me but I started realising it evidently when we went out to the club earlier this year (which was veryyyy rare)and a guy was showing me interest. Being the person that I am, I'm not pushy nor do I throw myself unto men, if they're giving me the googly eyes lol I let them come to me etc. She saw this happening and decided to force herself unto the guy who was trying to speak to me all night. Of course I let her because although he was cute, I didn't get the move in my spirit that I usually would lol. Everytime she saw him coming to speak to me, she placed herself between us to block the conversation from happening. By the end of the night, she was wrapped around him as though they were a couple. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago, same thing happened this time at a wedding. Strangely enough the guy that she continued to throw herself on to, made it quite clear that he liked us both but he wanted to get to know me more lol. Again I wasn't interested so I allowed her her antics. Couple days after that, we're out hanging and a young man made a comment about me being so different and special and that there was something about me that he couldn't resist. Immediately after that, she started to throw so much shade at me and was terribly mean because I got complimented from a man she couldn't manipulate (her tool for manipulation is her body as she uses it to sexualize everything and attract these men). She has made very rude comments to me in the past as well, very very rude and I always chalked it up to not taking any offence because I knew her history and always thought that she was inherently miserable anyway. God had also been working in my spirit and letting me know that I needed to shed some things and I got a feeling that my relationship with her was one. When it happened, I smiled and thanked God even though she started to post very cryptic shady messages lol. I'm in my early 30's and have lost all three of what I considered my closest friends within the last year. They've all been doing some shady toxic things and I feel very strongly that God is working these things through for me.

I can agree with your story because I have also been down that path with close friends. Honestly, I'm not very open with people anyway and I suspect everyone as the bible says to guard your hearts. Everyone is not for you and it's great to have discernment when it comes to this so you can avoid so much unnecessary pain.. Treat people nice but monitor there actions and words cause it will reveal their fruits. I still have a few good Godly friends that I can count on one hand but sometimes the people who you thought were your closest cannot always go with you in your journeys and God is showing me this currently.

Sighs...I always thought I had discernment however as I'd mentioned before I was under heavy spiritual attack for yearsssssss and hadn't the slightest clue; it just drove me to extreme frustrations and disenchantment which I am convinced was the devil's plan for my life but my God was like "Not my child" lol. My heart has always been pure and devoid of those feelings of jealousy and envy and I believe that was the opening in which the enemy used to attack. It is hard for me to recognize when persons are jealous of me simply because I honestly don't know how to identify something that isn't a part of me inherently. Sadly, that spirit came with the presence of 2 of my closest friends and a couple others along the way (one who verbally pronounced a curse over me and my future children simply because I refused to give her money while she was pregnant). You are surely right however as you see them by their actions and words and definitely know them by their fruit. Both ladies have said and done extremely questionable and hurtful things which I always overlooked as I simply hadn't the desire to focus on their ill actions and feelings towards me and was focused on my own personal struggles. And indeed, there comes a time when the weight can no longer be carried and certainly not in the path that God has for you and if you don't remove it God's faithfulness to you certainly will....
@@18QueenHearts Hey girlie! Indeed you are right. I understand how easy it is to get entangled with the wrong people because of how caring and open you may be. I speak for myself as well. We just should not allow people to take advantage of us because they definitely will if we do not take our place as a child of God. Living in this world is never easy but God does give us strength to see us through if we remain faithful to him. It's all in the process :)

Yes. I know my aunt will try to trap and twist things up. She is a very jealous hearted and manipulative person. I still love her, and I will pray for her and minister to her. But I am no fool. She stay trying to ask me if I have talked to other family members, or she will try to say something about my mom and who she hang with. Wow! So I had a friend who is like this, well I thought was a friend and she did me really dirty. She was very jealous when God was working in my life and continued to use me as a measuring stick. I was afraid of being lonely so I didn’t cut it off sooner. I tried to continue being friends and it’s just not working. Now I’m realizing how stuck I am because of my resentment towards her. I realize my hurt and unforgiveness is causing me to be jealous because I feel after being so good to her and being done wrong, why is she getting blessed? Thank you for this! I need to repent of all these ill feelings and cry out to God.

God I thank you I have never had a jealous spirit I celebrate when my spiritual sisters and family get blessed and the blessings fall on me too.
I have to be fearful of the jealousy in ohter people as well as jealousy that may be in me towards others as well. The reasons may not be the five you mentioned but i know I must look at other signs of jealousy that I might have in my own heart towards others.

I only now realize today , I am. dealing with jealous people in business and otherwise. I had realtor to rent property in the past who always sat on it for months and no renters. Now a renter but talking to me with hostility. Appearing to represent the interst of the other unequally, trying to lowball me. Making demands, much drama and surprises. When she finally arrived at a fair rate another caveat thrown in. When I declined she then showed her true colors in the most unproffesional text messages. I only realize now that is jealousy; her feeling she has to feel superior for feeling inferior for "working for me". I don't see it like this but now recognize this is the other's view: Jealousy. Benjamin Franklyn said how others are not happy with another's success. I really could not understand this individual's behavior. I now recognize it in the context of this video that it is or was her Jealousy with which I was dealing. Thank you for helping me to see Roberta what I for so long could not understand.

My God!!! Been dealing with this a lot lately. My husband and I was discussing this yesterday concerning the body of Christ. It just shouldn’t be. We are all created fearfully and wonderfully made!!!!!!!! We are unique!!!
I agree! I see it alot in my church too. I wanted to leave my church for the same reason, and I prayed about it, but I believe God is having me to stay put. There is just no perfect place in anything. I joined a prayer group, but found the group to be too clickish and ridiculing.
It is so frustrating to feel that you have a level of spiritual discernment, realize that you do, and then recognize people just don't get it like you do. And the same thing, I have met people who are more spiritually aware and discerning than I am.
So many people who don't attend church, hate the church just because of the conflicting behavior of individuals, and comparison of the Bible word of God explaining the fruit of the spirit. But I say to judgemental non-church participants, if you know how a Christian is supposed to act, then why are you not attending church. You have to put up with the same behavior outside of the church so what's the difference???
