Commenting this from fixed laptop with the same 3f0 issue. Removed battery and pressed power button for 20-25 seconds and laptop came back to normal startup. HP Elitebook 8570p. 10-July-2022 Next morning (11-July-2022)same problem tried every thing but nothing worked, removed hard disk from laptop. 16-July-2022 Removed the HDD case and took out board from HDD by unscrewing 6 screws. Cleaned the connectors which were black, after cleaning connected the board to HDD. Now it is working fine.
Clean your hardisk when you remove it and ensure that it fits perfectly with cable sometimes due to mishandling(shock or if you drop it) connection can become lose And also try to disable legacy option and then shutdown, restart and again enable it in bios settings

Femi Eugene I had to get the hard drive replaced and it was fixed and started working again but you do have to be very gentle with your computer and make sure to not drop it

I was running xubuntu on my omen laptop and then wanted to re-install windows 11 and get rid of xubuntu. I get no drivers found. After trying many things I deleted the hard drive. Now I have boot device not found. Is ther a way to reset it to factory default without an operating system? in the old days you just put a pin in a little hole.

2 Solutions 1. Check ur hard is connected properly or not. Open the laptop carefully and slide out and in the drive. Reboot the laptop. Worked for me 2. OS is currupt. Boot ur laptop with external device, Pendrive. Thus install OS externally.
@@katherineclaros7341 well basically my issue was that I changed the bios password and that reset the bios configuration where it enabled uefi/secure boot, and I wasn't sure how to even get into the bios because there were no prompts as to what key to press to get into it. So in a nutshell, press F10 after u power on to enter bios, then switch to legacy, set primary hard disk to boot from. if you want to configure secure boot its up to you. Done!

I only pressed power key until it get off then I removed its battery and unplugged the power supply. After some time I reinstalled its battery and then started. Problem Resolved
