E Bike (Bafang mid drive conversion)

- Review of my standard Mountain which was converted to an E Bike and i have to say its been brilliant, modification done was fitted with 500watt Bafang mid drive motor , 36volt 20ah battery , thumb throttle , lcd screen, E Bike chain. i think this was well worth the money spent please check out Liams website if your looking at a conversion.

Best thing i have done what a difference Paul as you know the struggles i had on the human powered bike 🤣cant get enough of it . got another we video on the glen coming next but couldn't get to the wee green bridge the gate was locked but its a cracking wee place now. Atb Ally 👍
Nice one Ally, looks like he did a fab job, like the idea of a throttle where you don’t need to pedal, that’ll come in handy at times.🚴🏽👍

Nice review Ally.Looked into conversions and even buying an e bike after a failed attempt on the Glen Affric hostel Munros last year.Was gubbed after cycle and only managed 1 mountain.
I'm not a cyclist really and couldn't justify the costs for something I hardly use and decided to hire an E-mountain bike from Decathlon.Only have 2 bike/hikes left to do.😀👍
Thanks Andy I still have those munros to do so will come in very handy, I was the same looked at ebikes the cost I couldn't justify as only us it for going in to the mountains. My bike had only made 4 outings so when I spoke to Liam I thought go for the conversion it cost 830 for everything which I thought was superb considering the cost of some of the ebikes. Atb Ally 👍
Very informative video mate and he done a cracking job. As you know Maxine is thinking about getting her bike converted, I think the frame might be too small though. Cheers mate
Hi Donny yip was good to share what I got done gives everyone a wee insight that you can convert rather than spending thousands, if maxine is looking you should contact Liam he will be able to do something as my frame was same so he changed the size of motor and battery it's worth looking in to. Hi Kev thought I would do a wee video to show you can convert the bike and save a fortune at the same time it's been a lifesaver the now with a lot of the longer trips, I spent my child hood down the estate was a cracking place and still is mate. ATB ALLY 👍
