hey pixel dan, I've been thinking about buying some of the master of the universe classics figures for awhile now but I've never been able to get into the show that much. (it's just a bit to much of a show with a lesson for me although the fights and story are pretty cool) So is it necessary to have watched the show, and can you buy these figures seperatly or do you have to buy the subscription? (srry for the long question)
Glad I was able to pick one of these up on Mattycollector during their Black Friday sale for 24.50. This'll go great with my Beast Man.

I'd probably just get three, one for Skeletor, Evil lynn and Beast Man. for scouting and for swooping down to attack. If all else you'd at least have a spare for Trap-Jaw so that they give Skeletor aerial support while Skeletor attacks while riding Panthor.

Hey Dan not to go off topic but I cannot wait for you to do review on sdcc exclusives when you get the time.
Did they get the feet backwards? I can't help but think the bird claws should be on the front instead of on the back, like actual Mythological griffins.
FWIW the arrangement of the feet (with the bird feet on the back) is the same as the MYP cartoon, so I think it was based on that.
Man I'm still on the fence bc of size I can barely display my battle cat or swiftwind or Gymboree as is bc their so big :/ great review though u really have me thinking now lol
You wouldnt happen to know when they are going to rerelease the Wind Raider would you?
I'm buying this off a friend I want to use it for Hordak since he is the only figure of the top 4 that doesn't have a animal to ride
He does look very cool, but I don't own battlecat yet
We should have gotten a 200X battle cat and panthor in the classics toyline. But that's just my opinion.

Since it's the same body buck, yes it can. It can also fit Battlecat and the upcoming Battlelion who all share the same body buck.

The Griffin was never part of the He Man collection I know that for a fact because when I was a kid I had every single piece of He-Man figurine in accessory that they made in the Griffin this Griffin total reject was never part of you man
