Also, there is this essential oil called Halo or something.. you put drops in a halo shape around your head (I think it's peppermint) and it is a nice feeling..

Just getting caught up on your channel. As someone with chronic health conditions, including migraines and sinus issues, I totally understand. My advice is to find an ent and just go in. There might be new procedures, medicines and options that you dont know about. I know the feeling of being scared and daunting and not going because it feels like there isnt anything else can be done. But, that always isnt thencase and sometimes you will find surprises. Hope you get some relief soon.

I actually did go to an ENT and I started on sublingual immunotherapy (SLIP). Instead of allergy shots, it's in a form that I can do at home using drops under my tongue. It turns out that my allergies are actually worse then they've every been. They tested me for about 35 environmental substances and I am severely or moderately allergic to every single thing!!! WHAT??? I am also going to make an appointment for a neurologist when I get a chance. All of this stuff is very expensive and my insurance is garbage, so it's going to take some time to get all of this straightened out. In the meantime...the headaches and migraines are increasing in frequency. NOT GOOD! Oh well...I hope it gets better soon. Thanks so much for watching my channel :)

My triggers are the smell of popcorn and being overtired.. High pitched noises don't help either! I have had them since I was a baby.. I vomit, can't move, and even moving my eyes hurts.. I get your pain totally! Mine go away for the most part when I am pregnant.. Have you tried Gabapentin?? or Imitrex? Imitrex didn't work for me but gabapentin does for sure! Can't take it when i'm nursing...

I have actually taken Gabapentin for psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia when those conditions were active. It would be interesting if I got any migraines while I was taking it. Shoot, I can't even remember what I did yesterday let alone 6 years ago...LOL! I tried Imitrex when it was in the self injectible form when it first came out. It did take my headache away, but I was paralyzed for 2 hours. I am too afraid to try it again. Thanks for the suggestion. I will definitely look into gabapentin for it.

My daughter suffers awful migraines as well...being pregnant she can't take many good meds to kill them right now but her neurologist did tell her to take 1 gm of Magnesium each day and she's found that to be helpful... A friend of mine fills her kitchen sink with ice water, and submerges her elbows in it, apparently that does something with vasoconstriction or something? That's all that I know about them but wish you wouldn't have to suffer so much, Kelly...so sorry to hear it!

I took magnesium and calcium supplement when I was pregnant and I'm not sure that it helped, but hey...it didn't hurt. I'll have to look into the elbow thing. Thanks for the suggestions :)

I've suffered with migraines my entire life, literally since I was 2 years old. Mine are so severe I can't see a thing, I throw up violently and the headache is so bad I just have to go to bed. I really sympathise with you :( the only thing that had a positive effect on mine were the contraceptive pill Yasmin. I had very few while on that pill, but drs are very reluctant for me to be on the combined pill because of the increased risk of stroke. Im sorry I don't have any other suggestions :-(

Ugh! I'm sorry you have this issue too. Unfortunately, the only thing that really makes them go away when they get that bad is sleeping them off, but it sucks when the pain is so bad you can't fall asleep. I hope the doctors have a medication that will help by now. Thanks for the suggestion sweetie :)
