When the Bridge Plates are used to detrain or board the train crew has a set number of doors that will match with the cross bridge from the plateform to the car.
When I take the train from MA to DC (about twice a year), I don't remember that we slow down at all for commuter trains, so I assume that they use two different track systems. Would I be right? I think your videos are impressive.
