      @@bendover-bz4bc What will you do for survival for 10 years while saving this money? Let's assume you had no liabilities or assets and you managed to accumulate 55 lacs a year and for 10 years that 550k£ roughly. I currently reside in the UK and the house where I live usually costs around 300k£ minimum for 3 rooms. Again having assumed you purchased 2 houses both having 3 rooms. If that isn't a student property you are not getting beyond 1200£ a month from a house and combined of both you will have 2400£ a month. This has a lot of deductions to be done like property tax and blah blah but even in the bestest case you won't make more than 3000£ a month with 10 years of saving. Cheers

      What I am saying is valid only in case you already have gold jewels or have a need to buy gold. If you have a need for buying gold, you are going to buy it anyway. if you already have gold then no need to keep a separate emergency fund. It’s like two times your emergency fund sitting with no/low interest rate. In his case, he has to get gold jewel for his mom. That’s a need. He already spent for it. Now no need to spend again on emergency fund. He can use that money to invest now as he already have gold to safeguard him in times of emergency.

      Depends on Tax Planning & Tax benefits provided by employer. Many employers provided ways to draw a part of your salary as reimbursements e.g. car lease, professional edu., telephone, internet, food coupons. The more options the employer provides and you opt you get more in hand salary.

    • @imjshnu
      @imjshnu Рік тому

      @@mayurkachchhava139 I could be wrong but based on what I understand there's a limit on how much one can save based on the instruments you have mentioned. What makes me curious is how someone with 30LPA has monthly in-hand almost similar to someone with 20LPA (this are just ballpark figures please don't take it literally)

    • @mayurkachchhava139
      @mayurkachchhava139 Рік тому

      @@imjshnu It’s function of 3 items.
      1. Fixed compensation vs ctc. One can have 30L CTC but 25 as fixed and another 22L fixed only no variable. The in-hand salary is based on fixed portion and not CTC.
      2. Tax planning. The 30L person if taking no deduction will end up with low in-hand per month ( most impacting are HRA & Home loan).
      3. Tax saving options provided by employer.
      A best example is HRA. Assume both have 5L as HRA. A pays rent to family and claims full 5L as HRA. B just claims 1.8L. The difference can amount to 10k in hand changes p.m.
      Combined all 3 you can have large fluctuations brining 20L & 25L fixed at par.
      One other way of temporary increasing the in hand salary for first 10 month is to delclare maximum amount of deduction to employer. It will increase inhand and defer tax liability.
