  • A short promotional video for Tardebigge Cider in the style of a mini-documentary. Steve Cooper takes us through, from start to finish, the process of how he makes artisan cider. Harvesting and picking the apples by hand from his orchard, Steve then washes and prepares the fruit, crushes it into a pulp, and then presses the juice in an apple mill. From there it is fermented with sulfates until it's ready for blending.
Tardebigge Cider is a small business making cider, perry, and apple juice in Worcestershire, UK.

This was filmed in two short hour and a half sessions with the client and edited in the space of 10 hours. Filming, Editing, and Music Production done entirely by Jeremy Broad.

Cider is a gift from God to show us he loves us and wants us to be happy, what a guy.

God what a teaser. Was looking forward to actually learning something, but heard elementary aspects of cider making.

It's sad to think so many public houses - the original pubs who gained a name from brewing their own brilliant blends were nearly annihilated in the UK. After the war we were helll bent on mass producing uniform products, moving far away from unique artisans.
It's good to see UK cuisine getting back on its feet.

You should give it a go! It's perhaps the easiest of brewed-drinks to get right (to avoid it going wrong, really) while it still takes years to master. The secret is to use a blend of genuine cider-apples rather than eating/cooking apples (crab apples are a great addition)

Was interested in what he had to say but could not hear much due to the soundtrack of Interstellar playing in the background

The music was way too much and what about the kettle in the background that just kept steaming?

I love cider. Cider is far better than beer. Sorry but cider is the best.

Glad we still have these people in this country- the EU would soon put them out of Business and a way of life would be lost.

Coincidentally the same name as the cider maker featured in this video. Your political views are completely shit, wrong, ignorant, stupid, bollocks. The EU has always protected small producers

Wrong, the industrial cider that's peddled in the UK and Ireland is often only 30% apple juice and even then much of that is from concentrate. Many EU countries will not allow the use of the name Cider or Cidre or Syder on the label unless the product is made form more than 50% fresh apple juice.
If anything the EU protects small craft brewers cider makers.

@@peterperigoe9231 there was a eu proposal to remove the 7000l duty free band on craft cidermakers which would have rendered artisan cider producing financially pointless...
