Great looking knife. Terry, "Use your knife". Harold, "Use your lil' knife". Now, who's going to come out and champion the Spay blade? 😅 More often then not, I'll use the smaller blades for basic tasks like box/letter opening and tape cutting, etc. Abby's looking extra chipper this morning. Squirrels must be in retreat. Good girl, Abby! Have a great day, brother.
I always use the pin blades on my SAK, reason being I can’t get the large blade open without breaking ten of my fingernails. It’s one knife that fights me to open. I’ve even sat and opened and closed it over and over trying to break in the spring, it’s almost impossible to open still. I would hate to have arthritis in this hobby, I see why HT has problems sometimes opening knives, it’s getting harder the older I get. Have a great weekend guys.👍🇨🇦🇺🇸🍻
@@oxyfee6486 You're not alone. Just watch how I open knives. Rarely use my thumbs. I see, on CKWs, Rough Ryder has an opening tool (kinda like a pry bar). Maybe we're hitting that age. 😒
@@Pocket_EDC I saw that tool, maybe I will order one, probably be a great little project to make your own. I imagine there’s lots of people who have the same problem we do. Great video idea, make a key chain opener out of plastic or dryer lint and straws from Seven Eleven.😂🤣
Another great video HT, I look forward to your videos every morning with my coffee and breakfast. I’m so grateful that I stumbled upon your video that late night when I couldn’t sleep. I now have a great friend all the way down in Arkansas, and another friend in Nova Scotia Canada. So many great people I now call friends, all because of you, Have a blessed day brother, see you on the next one. Oh ya, great little knife!😂👍🇨🇦🇺🇸🍻
That's what this community does Dave!! It brings AWESOME folks together!! Glad your still enjoying my lil ramblings my friend!! Your a very patient man...lmbo 🤣😉 Ty for visiting with us my brother!! Have a great weekend!! 🫡👍👊🙏💯🇺🇸🔥 💯🇨🇦💪
Thank you, brother, you too kind!! But, glad to hear you're enjoying the watch!! I appreciate ya visiting with us, my brother, and you guys. Have an awesome weekend!! 🫡👍👊🙏💯🇺🇸🔪🔥
Great looking little Barlow!! Sweet that is came from such a storied company! The swell of the Barlow really lends well to the guys with the big meat hooks! Thay may be the reason I enjoy two blades knives over singles now days!! Thanks for sharing about the camco!
I really like the old Camco knives, and this one looks great! The two I've got so far are a camp knife and a TL-29, both of which I found at an antique store and I restored them👍Cheers, buddy!
Another fine video. I’ve found the pen blade on my barlows generally has better snap than the clip or sheep foot main blade. That includes my case, keen kutter and ulster barlows.
Found an old Camco awhile back when chasing Barlows along with an imperial on eBay for 8$ including shipping! A little minor cleanup and she looks brand new. Love em!
Great video and a Very nice little Camco. Don't see many Camco's in that good a condition as they where a working mans knife. Take care and God bless you and yours ✝️
Nice Camco HT, they did come from a company that knew how to make pocket knives. The canoe is still numero uno on my list but frankly I like them all. I have a few Camillus creations but probably need a few more., Thanks buddy. BTW you're running at 100% with me my friend. 😀
Oh...💯, the 🛶 is staunchly embedded as my #1 smaller carry!! But...ye olde Barlows are definitely climbing the leader board!! TY for visiting with us today my friend!! 🫡👍👊🙏💯🇺🇸🔪🔥
Camillus NY was around 50 miles from where I grew up. The knife facility employed up to 200 people at one point. Remington was in Illion NY also a local industry.
That's nice camco my grandpa had a camco pocket knife was his only knife and it still has snap n gets sharp blades are sharpened down but she still cuts
Case actually started in 1889. But yea still not the oldest American knives co by no means. Actually didn't know Camillus was. Thats pretty cool. Yea very sad they had to shut the doors. I totally dig that camco. You know im a sucker for a barlow. You know now that you say that i really do love the thickness aspect of the barlow. Yea their on the smaller end but they are some good beefy knives. Great video brother. God bless buddy and we will see you in the next one. 👍👍🤝🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@TravisTheCaseGuy yesssirr, it was actually Buck that started in 1902,my apologies!! But, Camillus indeed opened their manufacturing in 1876. Good catch T-bone 👏🏻 💯🇺🇸🔪🔥
I feel the same way about the sodbuster jr handle thickness, the new ones are better looking and have become the darling of the knifetubers, but that old traditional thick synthetic feels better to me especially when bearing down on a tougher task
Funny u say that, my front yard actually was a fenced horse pasture before we moved in here. There actually is still a hitching post in my front yard also!! Ty for the visit Mrs Kathleen and enjoy your weekend!! 🫡👍👊🙏💯🇺🇸🔪🔥
That's a gorgeous Barlow. Such a wonderful knife
Ty buddy, glad u enjoyed the look over!! And very much appreciate ya visiting with us today my friend!! 🫡👍👊🙏💯🇺🇸🔪🔥

Very welcome I agree. It's neat how our grandpas generation had them n used n kept them forever
