It’s at a point where I play a match or two and I’m already done playing. Only way to win is play meta and hope your team plays it better than the other. As a support player too, I feel like I have little to no impact and if my team doesn’t protect me then I die, they die, and I get blamed. They’ll pull up scoreboard and flame me for my deaths when I’m constantly getting dove on and deleted. Just feels bad most of the time and I’m really starting to not enjoy ow. Not to mention I feel gaslit and robbed by blizzard so it’s all this plus bad faith that is really killing this game

She is even worse in lower ranks, where some people just don't know how to counter or annoy her. The one hit kill is lame as hell, at least Widow is sitting in the same area and sticking out like a sore thumb, not jumping around engaging 1v3 and STILL having a chance of survival

For sure bro, I got $10 PvE will be “level packs” of like 3 released every 3 months with a new battle pass. Giving you a little story and a little more lore with each one. Those story missions and skill trees looked like so much fun to sink my teeth into but I’m afraid it’ll just be more of the same. I simply cannot trust blizzard. They’ve shown for years now that they cant resist the urge to put in minimal effort to maximize returns.

I played Overwatch almost everyday since release and I’m getting tired of it because of the matchmaking. I rank pretty low and since the new season I’ve been playing again Diamond and even a Master contender players. It’s completely one sided matches lately.
blizzard: we acknowledge the issues with the support role, we will try to make it more enjoyable for support players. also blizzard in season 2: we buffed tracer. (tbh also sojourn) overbuffed doomfist, still didnt nerf hog, and to make it fair for supports we gave mercy 5 extra bullets
Being a more causal player, I enjoy playing support. I had a tough match where I played Moira and did over 8k damage with a Baptiste doing over 7k and we did more than the DPS and tank combined.
I left the game since OW2. I was unhappy with the changes, and the battle-pass system. Blizzard tries to cover up the loss of concurrent player numbers but stating some huge unrealistic number of players who "played" during a month, but that includes every single player who logged in and then decided not to play.
I love Overwatch so much. There's nothing else like it and I doubt there ever will be. That's why I've played since day 1 and will continue to play until it no longer exists. That being said, there's been very bad times in Overwatch's lifespan and the fact that they're already doing things balance wise to where I can see the writing on the wall of us going down a similar path as OW1 has me incredibly nervous.
Had the most miserable time playing this game today. Nothing but "one-shot" hero's with pockets and tanks that refuse to protect the team and only chase kills. The game balancing and team balancing is absolutely trash. Definitely not playing next season nor buying the battle pass.

I recently just came back because I’m finding Junker Queen extremely fun but still needs buffing. The game honestly feels awful due to greed but I’m sticking around for pve and if that’s bad then that’s my last straw for good
My guess is that PVE is gonna be 10 missions that roughly follow the exact format of Choose the mission you wanna play (or random for extra battle pass XP), queue in with randoms, every mission is basically just a holiday event map with a cinematic cutscenes that loosely connects things, and 75% of the story told through character dialogue mid combat.

As a casual player who picked this game up it just felt really slow on releasing new content. I had tons of fun the first 2 weeks but it slowly became the same game with no changes for me and my friends and now none of them play
for me and my friendgroup it is the new monetization, not necessarily the balancing. we don't wanna grind till lvl 45 for a new hero. Since we only play casual, we all will rather stop than experience the disadvantage. the fact that we got all the heroes before, masked all of this and i think this will be a big point for a lot of casuals in the future.

@@lyserl Do not compare League and Apex with OW. In the first two you can earn free currency to unlock new heros instantly. In OW you have to grind every season again as there is no hero currency.
You can one-trick most heroes to grand master without ever switching. The whole idea that casuals can’t compete because they’re missing one hero is just absurd.
I'm legit a brand new player, started roughly two weeks ago and honestly the role based team play scared me which is why I didn't get into it. Simply because I didn't and still don't know what to do or how to do it. But I'm glad I took the leap. It's a lot more fun than I thought it'd be.... well the unranked matches lol. I'm still too nervous to go ranked.
I agree with most of this video, I also believe that it’s a game that casual players can enjoy since it’s easy to pick up, even though watching it isn’t as compelling as the examples you mentioned. The clickbait on the other hand is dogshit, I understand having to make ends meet and playing into the algorithm but there has to be a limit I should hope.

I'm not surprised after that horrendous balance patch. Played 1 game of comp on support (my main role) and I don't want to touch the game again until Doom, Hog and Soujorn is nerfed. Felt like I couldn't play the game as soon as the enemy tank swapped to Doom and dumped all their cooldowns on me.
I’ve played this game since 2017 and today I finally quit. I honestly feel like the player base ruins the experience completely. I’ve been stuck at lower ranks and there is no possible way to get out. Finally free from trying to climb an impossible wall made of shit.

Every time there have been Twitch drops and or when season 2 lauched there have been spikes over 140k from otherwise 30k watching streams. If you talk about Fortnite it spiked recently 900k this month the day Chapter 4 released.
Absolutely terrible process of getting coins in the game. Not even coins refund from battle pass. Forcing win objectives in PVP where you loses 70-80% time. You have no control over the match like you feel against A.I. Weekly challenges in the game are so bad for PVP, they would give you migraine. Devs are not just greedy but they have evil intentions for you. I'd stay tf away from this type of leech game.

Yeah...I Uninstalled when I saw the season 2 battlepass. Pretty underwhelming. Blizzard has trouble with balancing heroes, is absolute shit at marketing, and their monetization price points are laughable. At a certain point I just gave up. Do I really want to spend my time struggling to get through the battlepass for a bunch of skins I don't particularly like, for characters I don't really play?
Actually one of the things that gives you a type of motivation to play was the lootboxes, And now with the new battle pass system I think that took a lot of the fun, (Also Arcade is basically dead on console)
The addition of ramatra has ruined the game for me and I find myself very angry while playing anymore. Its supposed to be fun. And fair. Now its frustrating and unfair. I just deleted the game

An other problem that makes watching overwatch esport boring is the meta. I’ve watched the playoffs and 95% of the time it was exactly the same comp, which ends up being really repetitive

The WAY I worked my ass off to climb from the bronze 5 but to silver only to have server issues and an “applying update screen” cause me to be suspended and back in bronze 4 after a 7 win placement with only two losses (one being the kick from the applying update bug) . The game is becoming less fun with each patch. My win rate is not reflected in my rank and it’s demoralizing
I really hope they watch these videos and get the hint that they need to at least cut the price on all cosmetics by 50% or add a lot of coins/older skins in the battle pass. If you already have the skin then you just cash out 300 coins or something.
As an OG Overwatch player who played hours and hours when it first released, I absolutely hate Overwatch 2. The introduced battle pass is horrible (RIP loot boxes), the game balancing is completely off from how it used to be and it feels like a chore to play. I miss being able to jump on for a few games and actually enjoying myself, whether I won or lost. I stuck with it for a long time, but to me, they didn't improve upon anything.

I'm a player that got back in to OW2 with excitement and I haven't loaded up the game once since season 2 dropped, even after completing last season's battle pass. I really like the game and I want to continue to like the game, but Activision Blizzard is drip-feeding overpriced content and cares more about squeezing money out of players than making decent and persistent, good changes to the game. I've opened three tickets now for OWL skins I haven't received and they keep blowing me off and telling me "We can't verify or give players skins" and for only getting half the unlocks in the same tier "This is a known issue it should be fixed eventually." This comparison probably won't make sense to some people but if you look at the new season of Fortnite, it's massive, and I mean it's blowing people away, and the amount of content and positive changes is staggering. Overwatch just continues to fail to deliver and is ran by way too greedy of a company with the worst support in the industry right now, and they're trying to give people Twitch and UA-cam rewards they won't even make good on to artificially inflate viewer engagement. It's a garbage practice and it's a company I grew up with and it's very disappointing to see. I wish they would just take responsibility for what they've done and try to make good on their players and stop dragging their feet much on needed changes and upgrades to the game. It seems this is even because of it being overshadowed by World of Warcraft and their priorities being where the cash flow is. I really want to like the game and I really want to play the game but in lieu of all of the aforementioned issues, currently I load the launcher, look at the game, and then go play something else.

I'm currently not sure if I will be playing season 3 if the current rank system is still in place. Losing 2 ranks in a new season and then staying that rank after winning 21 games is pure bs to me. There should be personal progression in the game as well, and not just depending on the skill, mood or internet connection of your teammates.

I'm a complete beginner. I've really tried to like this game but every game the other teams are stacked getting 20 kills each. I can't even get out of spawn most of the time. It's not enjoyable to have no chance to complete challenges
With the Influx of new players I knew matchmaking was gonna be weird so I waited for few months for everything to sort out. 3 months later and I'm still getting placed with new players playing against what feels like master + or vice versa. In either case, one team gets rolled and the game isn't fun. When the matches are even, the core gameplay is fun except you have to play meta heroes or you're not gonna win and your team is gonna flame you. Push maps are bad. When I lose it feels horrible and when I win, it doesn't feel worthwhile. The loot is horrible and makes you want to get the battle pass to gain anything worth while. That is until you look at the rewards for the battle pass and realize it's not even that good. Uninstalled the game in January and will not be returning. Played the game since launch so the $50 or so dollars spent on the game for 6 years is money well spent.

Rank decay is useless and a huge waste of time. I had to put up with lots of trolls, throwers, one tricks that refused to switch when countered, toxicity, and unbalanced matches to get to where I am. Why did my rank drop the next day and the match is not easier? Rank decay should only happen to inactive accounts or those that barely play. It doesn't make sense when happening to players that grind the game for hours just to be punished when a new season comes out.
Don't show gigantic as an overwatch clone it was revealed before overwatch making it impossible to be a clone, it is was a much better game. It just couldn't match the marketing of bigger games.

I quitted after season 1 and I played since betta, the fact that I had to grind BP and then at final lvl80 they tell me that I need to lvl it up to lvl 200 was to much, uninstalled after that never played since.
The fact that you posted Gigantic an 0:34 makes my heart ache. That game had so much potential and every character was great. The had plan for comp/ranked, game modes and characters comeing out every couple months after full release but Perfect World Dropped them for subnautica. So I have a MAJOR distaste for that game. It's a gem that alot of people didnt even get to enjoy like Battleborn.

The game is really fun and unique for me. Coming from FGC background, I do understand we will only have a handful of viable characters at higher level. But right now, I find Hog so boring and uninteractive. I main Ball, Rein, Zarya because I have so much fun with those characters. I played in beta and close after and am used to the lootboxes, the currency gain seems super slow. 2) Are there regular balance updates? I gotta tell you, I still play with my friend, but I haven't spent a single dime on the game... Not last battlepass, not this one, not the crappy skins for $20 a pop, not for a stupid emote, it's all crazy expensive, and honestly. I don't see myself spending anything unless the prices go down
I don't like the style of Overwatch 2. From simplistic design of the first game we come to a overly detailed style with lots of gradients, which doesn't look good. It lost its quality and cozy feel. Plus the new cinematics of Junker Queen and Kiriko are not great. Character models look like they are a product of generic sculpting from Blender. For example McCree cinematic has a quality feel to it, which modern Overwatch doesn't have in all directions. 🙁

I like 5v5, but it needs to be adjusted because the tank needs to provide a path for healers and dps,and DPS needs to protect the back line healers and kill supports, but supports need to focus keeping dps and tank alive also getting their eliminations here and there.my point is one failure crumbles the whole foundation.

I am a newer player (2 months) and am very casual. I got silver tank, gold dps, and gold support last season with very casual play and I can tell you now Sojourn is OP in low rank as well. She is a broken character...especially for support players. I am constantly STILL one-shotted by Sojourn if I try to pocket my tank. I expose even a little to heal and down I go. She is in nearly every game I play...on both sides.

I could play OW1 in a 3 hours session and barely feel the fatigue, in OW2 i feel exhausted after 3 games... to me that says it all.

For sure bro, I got $10 PvE will be “level packs” of like 3 released every 3 months with a new battle pass. Giving you a little story and a little more lore with each one. I never asked for a graphics update to slow down my framerates. I never asked for 5v5. I never asked for a Battlepass. I have spent thousands of hours playing Overwatch and now I have no desire to play at all. Just curious after seeing an ad, if anyone else felt this way.

I played Overwatch almost everyday since release and I’m getting tired of it because of the matchmaking. I rank pretty low and since the new season I’ve been playing again Diamond and even a Master contender players. It’s completely one sided matches lately.

Being a more causal player, I enjoy playing support. I had a tough match where I played Moira and did over 8k damage with a Baptiste doing over 7k and we did more than the DPS and tank combined.
I left the game since OW2. I was unhappy with the changes, and the battle-pass system.
Blizzard tries to cover up the loss of concurrent player numbers but stating some huge unrealistic number of players who "played" during a month, but that includes every single player who logged in and then decided not to play.
I love Overwatch so much. There's nothing else like it and I doubt there ever will be. That's why I've played since day 1 and will continue to play until it no longer exists. That being said, there's been very bad times in Overwatch's lifespan and the fact that they're already doing things balance wise to where I can see the writing on the wall of us going down a similar path as OW1 has me incredibly nervous.

Had the most miserable time playing this game today. Nothing but "one-shot" hero's with pockets and tanks that refuse to protect the team and only chase kills. The game balancing and team balancing is absolutely trash. Definitely not playing next season nor buying the battle pass.

As a casual player who picked this game up it just felt really slow on releasing new content. I had tons of fun the first 2 weeks but it slowly became the same game with no changes for me and my friends and now none of them play
for me and my friendgroup it is the new monetization, not necessarily the balancing. we don't wanna grind till lvl 45 for a new hero. Since we only play casual, we all will rather stop than experience the disadvantage. the fact that we got all the heroes before, masked all of this and i think this will be a big point for a lot of casuals in the future.

I'm not surprised after that horrendous balance patch. Played 1 game of comp on support (my main role) and I don't want to touch the game again until Doom, Hog and Soujorn is nerfed. Felt like I couldn't play the game as soon as the enemy tank swapped to Doom and dumped all their cooldowns on me.
I’ve played this game since 2017 and today I finally quit. I honestly feel like the player base ruins the experience completely. I’ve been stuck at lower ranks and there is no possible way to get out. Finally free from trying to climb an impossible wall made of shit.

@@ericbutts6996 You can earn a Ramattra skin by watching a Twitch streamer for 6 hours which is why the viewership are high right now on OW. Every time there have been Twitch drops and or when season 2 lauched there have been spikes over 140k from otherwise 30k watching streams.

Absolutely terrible process of getting coins in the game. Not even coins refund from battle pass. Forcing win objectives in PVP where you loses 70-80% time. You have no control over the match like you feel against A.I. Weekly challenges in the game are so bad for PVP, they would give you migraine. Devs are not just greedy but they have evil intentions for you. I'd stay tf away from this type of leech game.

Yeah...I Uninstalled when I saw the season 2 battlepass. Pretty underwhelming. Blizzard has trouble with balancing heroes, is absolute shit at marketing, and their monetization price points are laughable.

The WAY I worked my ass off to climb from the bronze 5 but to silver only to have server issues and an “applying update screen” cause me to be suspended and back in bronze 4 after a 7 win placement with only two losses (one being the kick from the applying update bug) . The game is becoming less fun with each patch. My win rate is not reflected in my rank and it’s demoralizing

As an OG Overwatch player who played hours and hours when it first released, I absolutely hate Overwatch 2. The introduced battle pass is horrible (RIP loot boxes), the game balancing is completely off from how it used to be and it feels like a chore to play. I miss being able to jump on for a few games and actually enjoying myself, whether I won or lost. I stuck with it for a long time, but to me, they didn't improve upon anything.
I was so excited for OW2 that i bought the watchpoint pack.... but the second I saw the price tag on the Kiriko Witch skin I closed the game and uninstalled. Lmao have not regretted it

I'm a player that got back in to OW2 with excitement and I haven't loaded up the game once since season 2 dropped, even after completing last season's battle pass. I really like the game and I want to continue to like the game, but Activision Blizzard is drip-feeding overpriced content and cares more about squeezing money out of players than making decent and persistent, good changes to the game. I've opened three tickets now for OWL skins I haven't received and they keep blowing me off and telling me "We can't verify or give players skins" and for only getting half the unlocks in the same tier "This is a known issue it should be fixed eventually." This comparison probably won't make sense to some people but if you look at the new season of Fortnite, it's massive, and I mean it's blowing people away, and the amount of content and positive changes is staggering. Overwatch just continues to fail to deliver and is ran by way too greedy of a company with the worst support in the industry right now, and they're trying to give people Twitch and UA-cam rewards they won't even make good on to artificially inflate viewer engagement. It's a garbage practice and it's a company I grew up with and it's very disappointing to see. I wish they would just take responsibility for what they've done and try to make good on their players and stop dragging their feet much on needed changes and upgrades to the game. It seems this is even because of it being overshadowed by World of Warcraft and their priorities being where the cash flow is. I really want to like the game and I really want to play the game but in lieu of all of the aforementioned issues, currently I load the launcher, look at the game, and then go play something else.

I'm currently not sure if I will be playing season 3 if the current rank system is still in place. Losing 2 ranks in a new season and then staying that rank after winning 21 games is pure bs to me. There should be personal progression in the game as well, and not just depending on the skill, mood or internet connection of your teammates.

With the Influx of new players I knew matchmaking was gonna be weird so I waited for few months for everything to sort out. 3 months later and I'm still getting placed with new players playing against what feels like master + or vice versa. In either case, one team gets rolled and the game isn't fun. When the matches are even, the core gameplay is fun except you have to play meta heroes or you're not gonna win and your team is gonna flame you. Push maps are bad. When I lose it feels horrible and when I win, it doesn't feel worthwhile. The loot is horrible and makes you want to get the battle pass to gain anything worth while. That is until you look at the rewards for the battle pass and realize it's not even that good. Uninstalled the game in January and will not be returning. Played the game since launch so the $50 or so dollars spent on the game for 6 years is money well spent.
Long story short : good game and bad Devs (either they don't know what they do , or just don't care , both are frustrating)

Rank decay is useless and a huge waste of time. I had to put up with lots of trolls, throwers, one tricks that refused to switch when countered, toxicity, and unbalanced matches to get to where I am. Why did my rank drop the next day and the match is not easier? Rank decay should only happen to inactive accounts or those that barely play. It doesn't make sense when happening to players that grind the game for hours just to be punished when a new season comes out.

I quitted after season 1 and I played since betta, the fact that I had to grind BP and then at final lvl80 they tell me that I need to lvl it up to lvl 200 was to much, uninstalled after that never played since.
The fact that you posted Gigantic an 0:34 makes my heart ache. That game had so much potential and every character was great. The had plan for comp/ranked, game modes and characters comeing out every couple months after full release but Perfect World Dropped them for subnautica. So I have a MAJOR distaste for that game.

1) Can you still get skins through playing? I played in beta and close after and am used to the lootboxes, the currency gain seems super slow.
2) Are there regular balance updates? I´ve seen a lot of hate through this video towards Sojourn.
3) Is the report system working well? Had a bunch of afks/people jumping off the map in quickplay so far.

I don't like the style of Overwatch 2. From simplistic design of the first game we come to a overly detailed style with lots of gradients, which doesn't look good. It lost its quality and cozy feel. Plus the new cinematics of Junker Queen and Kiriko are not great. Character models look like they are a product of generic sculpting from Blender. For example McCree cinematic has a quality feel to it, which modern Overwatch doesn't have in all directions. 🙁

I am a newer player (2 months) and am very casual. I got silver tank, gold dps, and gold support last season with very casual play and I can tell you now Sojourn is OP in low rank as well.
