Very interesting. Look at how Conan was illustrated in weird tales. Big Hollywood or Italian “Sword and Sandal” movie influences. Frank Frazetta totally changed the popular image of Conan with his Famous Lancer paperback covers. Up to that point in time; Conan was depicted as a Hollywood gladiator picture beef cake. Charles Atlus with a battle axe
I knew about Crom, and about Gardner Fox's novels, but this collection and the new Crom stories are new to me. Kothar is okay, but Fox is no Robert E. Howard when it comes to sword and sorcery. The scans of the interior pages is kind of weird, because you're just looking at a picture of the page. It's no e-book that I could load onto my Kindle or smartphone.
Well, I just checked out the Gardner Fox Library page again, and now they have epubs of all the books available for sale, most of them $1.99, but a few are free to download.
It is great to see that someone makes a video about Crom (the Aesir) the Barbarian.
Great video as always, Todd!

Cool! I'd never heard of this character, even though I read both of Fox's S&S novel series.
He also wrote a fourth S&S character, Niall of the Far Travels, for Gary Gygax's Dragon magazine.

Gardner Fox went to the same college I did.
