i always admired the writers. some of the lines are just phenomenal. and i never understood how they could keep up going for all those years. huge respect.
This was THE best comedy…still enjoy it immensely. Nile and Daphne’s relationship was a priceless part of this show and always kept you guessing. Perfect.
It rly was. Just so good. I could binge this on the regular over and over. Grammer himself was such a good comedy actor. It's rare a person can mix being such a highbrow elitist type with being so likable.
I never found Niles even momentarily believable as heterosexual nor could I see any chemistry or spark between him and Daphne. He was so outrageously gay and/or camp that it was simply impossible to believe any straight woman would give him a second thought. They had less in common than Frasier and Roz. Totally unbelievable couple. I think that so many people involved in the show were gay that they just couldn't write (and in Hyde-Pierce's case, act like) heterosexual characters. John Mahoney could play a heterosexual (though his character was almost a caricature at times), but Hyde-Pierce could not pull it off. They should have just made him gay instead of him trying to stretch to being believable as a heterosexual.
I've seen every episode of the original series, Niles and Fraser were just brilliant together, the scripts were beautifully written and just so well delivered, the reboot, sadly, will not be the same. The original cast was perfect casting, in my humble opinion.
I fell upon Frazier reruns. I'm still hooked. His agent, Bebe, Roz, were just perfect! and when Rosie Perez and Frazier had an escape phrase. And the role Felicia (I can't thing of her last name) played with her cocky character was over the top! And I get SO excited trying to figure out who's on the call. I recognize a lot of them, but I just love that part.
Personally, I would be very pleased with a person that empathized with my child and stood up for her enough to tell me off, despite it all being a lie.
That's exactly what i thought. The whole scene is super funny but realistically, a woman would have appreciated a man who scarfices his desires because he is bothered by the welfare of a child: yours ! I think.
Except for the fact that he was babysitting and it was the first time meeting either one. That and the fact that he is brilliantly educated but can't spot an obvious pack of lies.
Same here. 💔 This was Momma's favorite show! She said she didn't care for it when it aired for some reason, but when she and I started watching reruns years later she loved it. We ended up getting it on DVD and watched the whole thing a couple times. 😘
Banger Dad?!?! As someone who is a bit old fashioned in that regard (what happens in the bedroom, stays in the bedroom. I won't ask and I won't tell) this opening clip is agony. Hilarious, but agonising!
The only thing he said to me was, "I think we got a problem with your brother Frasier." 😆 Just so funny cuz it's exactly like my father...getting his sons' names mixed up from utter lack of involvement in their lives and disdainfully calling out any sensitivity one may have as strange.
The lying 12 year old girl was messed up. 1. The woman should’ve been grateful Fraiser cared enough to sacrifice his hormones, to stick up for what he believed was a neglected child. 2. Those types of lies the brat told we’re way beyond something a 12 year old would say, because they’re mad. Funny in the show but realistically, I’d have her seeing a shrink, ASAP.
I've wondered how Frazier can afford his lifestyle. Unless one is at the same level as a Sean Hannity-esque radio host, they don't get that much money.
Martin always dated women at least a decade younger than he. And why would he go back to work when he was over 70? Series ended in 2004. Martin served during the Korean police action, which was 50+ years earlier.
22:49 Said it before, say it again. Martin should be on a decent pension and disability income but the latter is never mentioned. Response to video only.
The Friday Night sketch proves how little Frasier - and the script writers - actually know about women. Men think they're earning big points for doing some difficult or onerous task completed but women don't allocate points that way. For baby-sitting that woman's child, he will get ONE point! That's because most women have no clue as to how hard, physically or mentally a task is, so they will only give you one point. If you baby sit her kid or build her a house extension, you only get one point!
Maybe because women don't think in terms of points for the most part? I mean I'm getting from you that there's some guy understanding of this point system.... women don't think that way. So maybe you're right, but maybe you should stop expecting women to allocate points the way guys do. It's not a system that we use. And if you build her an extension on the house and then still treat her like s***, you're going to only get one point. Yes, she will acknowledge that you built the extension. But that's going to be it. And because women are usually the primary caretakers of children, you're not going to get a whole lot of points, even if we think that way, for babysitting one day of one week, out of the entire time of your relationship.
@@IronEarthDesigns I don't expect anything from women and haven't done so for almost 30 years now. There are four things that you will very rarely get from women and they are gratitude, loyalty, respect and an apology. Very few modern women come endowed with any of these qualities.

I rarely do this but I bought the series so I can watch whenver I want or "need" to.!😂 Best comedy acting and writing ever!
You know it’s good comedy when you laugh so hard you cry😂

I agree with you on all🤗
Its true. I was trying to watch the new one, but it does not have the same charm. The comedy feels forced
@isaian2e amen Frasiers nephew cant quite get his finger on the Niles role. I find him annoying.

And I can't shake the feeling that they're all reading the script to one side of the camera, in the new series.
Genius writing and acting. So unlike the recent reboot.
so sad right? i was SO disappointed because I love Kelsey Grammer.
The reboot does not exist to me.
I LOVE this show and still watch it every night.
OMG Bebe Glazier was an awesome character

YES I adored Bebe as the theatrically-evil agent. One of the funniest female characters of all time.

Yeah but you wouldn’t have been nearly as funny.

I have the dvds and now I am watching from UA-cam , I looooooveeeee it
"Two Gutless Wonders!"
Kelsey Grammer is absolutely hilarious in the Toad In The Hole sketch. It's late here and I'm laughing out loud over and over. My poor neighbours!
So effing funny and well written comedy!
Thank you!
Brings back my memories , missing my late mom 😢😢😢

We've all pilfered from Captain and Tennille.
Especially Muskrat Love lol. J/K😊

Typical Niles! Quite threatening!
Love this show 😂😂😂😂
Me too!
Got to say this was my fave Tv comedy series, and watcched every episode. ould be great if they reaired the original shows on mainstream TV.
Exactly!
They do in the UK, its on every weekday morning on Channel 4!
"I am 13 before I realised cows aren't blurry"
DHP can really deliver a line!
“Can you get in and out of a chair without going MMMMM.”
Not since 1993.
I sometimes can't, and I need to stop doing that because I sound like an old man; I'm 28 and female lol.
😂😂😂...Thank you 👍
nice! thanks :)
Why doesn't Netflix have this?!! 😢

Why is Frazier so brilliant ???
Three words IMO
David
Hyde
Pierce
Because Frazier - is simply better - in every department - than others - in the same field.
Fare thee well - on life's journey
Lol, they don't write em like that anymore.
The chair 😅😅😅
Renata was hilarious!!!
I never saw that the café is called "café Nervosa". :)
Then you haven't seen the show enough.
Really??? I noticed and thought it was genius for a coffee shop !😊 Glad you finally noticed.
OMG this is soo good 😂😂😂 why it's not in regular tv?😡
It's on Viaplay
Amazon Prime
It's on Cozi TV on channel 248.
I do care about the gomers! Don't make me hurl!!!😅 excellent 😂😂
🤣
Classic classic show and I always thought Frasier Crane similar to Larry of The Three Stooges

I love the show but his hairstyle really creeps me out. Glad he changed it.
The year I turned 30, I heard of a study which determined that middle age starts at…age 30!

He was supposed to be 41 on this show. My kids are 43 and 42 and don’t even look close to his age. He looks more like my age and I’m 66.

i don't think it is the best sitcom ever but it is in the golden 3: Friends, Seinfeld, Frasier.
