Beautiful music. The Tenebrae Choir is a London-based professional vocal ensemble founded and directed by former King's Singer Nigel Short. Co-founded by Short and Barbara Pollock in 2001, its repertoire covers works from the 16th to the 21st Century.
Everyone here is capable of singing professionally solo yet are like one voice without compromising eachother, amazing!

I have to add here there has been some greats in the past, Howells, Elgar etc but this composer, well the harmonies are so .... simple perfection!! This is different and quite unique and beautiful.

This place is made by God, indeed!
A lovely piece, but what's the key? It starts out mid-way between E and E-flat and eventually ends up in E-flat. Is it written in E or E-flat? (Kudos to Minnesota Public Radio's Choral Stream, where I first heard this piece and of Paul Mealor!)
E-flat. They may have started a bit sharp.
Is Adrian Peacock still performing with this choir?
Yes I believe so, I saw him last year in one of the path of miracles tours in nj. I think tenebrae has a large pool of singers that they send out based on what they are singing at the time.

Hes definately one of their countertenor/male altos in this case
You are referring to David Allsopp, a brilliant counter-tenor and soloist who sang on one of Tenebrae's latest recordings, Symphonic Psalms and Prayers!
