Not trying to brown nose, but this is the best baseball podcast whether it is DVR or Eno or Britt hosting.
You guys rock Keep up the great work! ❤️⚾️
FWIW on Gil, boone had been pretty transparent that the Yankees front office and training staff don't think innings limits are a solution. He says their constantly monitoring stuff, velo, training results, and medical testing to evaluate wear and tear and as long as guys are maintaining their normal levels, they want them to go. Basically said if Luis Gil is pitching the exact same in late august (not necessarily effectiveness, but velo, stuff and alluded to various medical testings/measurements) that they have no innings limit. If fatigue were to pop in those areas, they'd reevaluate
Late listener/Baty owner here - bit surprised to hear talk about how hard he hits the ball, average EV is down to 85 from 90 last season, max has dropped from 114 to 110, hard hit from 44 to 30. Seems to be a big part of the problem.
My weekly is set up as a daily (on the roto site) so the owners can replace a guy that gets put on the IL
i’m distracted for 5 seconds when a new name is mentioned and then listen, listen, listen for the name but it’s just “he, he, he” and i’m toggling around to figure out who you’re talking about.
love the pod but can you try to repeat the name a bit throughout the convo? i listen while driving or going about my day. thanks!
Definitely -- it's a constant bit of feedback that we're always working on. - DVR
