Schmitt needs to be given the everyday San Francisco Giants SS job. Casey is a gifted fielder who will help this ballclub win games. Schmitt isnt quite at the level of Vizquel or Crawford- tho he is CLOSE to that level.
So, you're spot on about Lugo, and throw Jack Flaherty in that bin, Tanner Houck, etc. Reverse it and make those guys your targets. Sometimes. Right? Trade Nick Gonzalez and someone for Lugo. Because Luck is a really solid pitcher who doesn't project injury.
Easiest thing for Gavin Stone is to look at the schedule. Stuffs not good and I know Nick Pollock hates how he uses his stuff, but he's had an insanely easily schedule
Conforto and Yaz are the guys who are actually blocking Luis Matos- not Slater. The youngster Matos deserves to start at a corner outfield position everyday- tho unfortunately career journeymen corner outfielders make up about 20% of our roster! Also what we have learned recently is that Heliot Ramos plays a far better centerfield at this point in their development than Matos. With Luis what we are seeing is that despite making some sensational catches- I guarantee when you talk to baseball scouts they will tell you Matos has a glove that really leaves a lot to be desired if we are talking CF.
CBS guys say it’s pronounced Maisher
Love you guys, but you're April v May Callers chart has the columns mixed up, at least by most? traditional western subtraction set-ups. I think. Anyway, it took me a beat to decipher. Don't let it happen again.
