- Kill Hedgie without making a single shot / destroy all statues (30g) and Kill Hedgie (15g). The achievement "Strike" is missable if you fail to kill Hedgie in a specific way.

Anyone notice how many times I said Wedgie instead of Hedgie? XD
the achievement didn't pop for me, I tried about 20 times, destroyed all 5 turrets and didn't fire a single shot, I didn't use any melee weapons either. the achievement does not appear, does anyone have a solution?

The double dodge ability is almost essential for this fight, I was really struggling until I got it and it was 100x easier

I checked my achievements today, turns out I did get it jjst got no ping on my Xbox. Very strange
The one for finding a proving ground isn't popping for me.
I got mine on the 20th time cause i had no ammo and I only had my axe lol so I used the statues to help me lol and boom I beat him and got it
Can confirm with my heart racing that as far as I'm aware, not using any melee and just killing hedgie with the statue works (23/3/23)
For the achievement strike you must break all the statues and kill him using them.
Is it only Melee or him running into the statues? because you can do a lot of damage with shok.
damn that ghosting on the ground @ 1:38. that's why i turn off motion blur lol. they have it there to hide lil jaggy and nasty pixels, but holy shit does it mess with my eyes. game seems pretty damn good though. gotta get around to playing it.

Not working for me. Strike just wont unlock, despite only using a melee weapon with no guns in my inventory. Destroyed all 5 statues and hid some damage to him with my pashtet on the initial statue that triggers him being vulnerable (the only time I hit him).
Edit: Finally got it to pop, I had to craft a Swede (I dismantled my original) and then not hit him at all, just use the statues to kill him. Also think Xbox live was acting up or something, as the trophy couldnt be viewed for ages, and when it did I also had "talk to all dead animals" which should have popped hours ago. Maybe it was just Xbox Live all along >.

You can play on hardcore from the get go!
@@Lordacris the hardest difficulty option for me is only Armageddon. I assumed I'd have to beat it on that before starting a run on hardcore? How did your choose hardcore from the get go?
@@dextrip25 Armageddon is Hard/Hardcore difficulty.
@@Lordacris ohhhhh ok, good. I thought hardcore would be the name of the next difficulty setting after beating it on Armageddon on a second playthrough. They should have described that achievement as beating it on Armageddon then.
Omg that's so lame i did this entire part with nothing but the Fox but i didn't get the achievement cuz i didn't use any of the statues lol i was just too elusive for Hedgie and killed it outright from melee attacks and never died
I had no clue about this achievement and almost got it after many deaths and the thing was that it hit a statue and then I was able to kill it
It didn't work at first even just by using statues but I did the steps below and it did something.
For anyone on Xbox I got it to pop by hard resetting the Xbox and loading up the game as normal and then I fought Hedgie with nothing in my inventory but the Swede(axe) and health items.
I only used the statues to defeat Hedgie (no melee) and I got the achievement.
Don't know if that would help but give it a shot.

For the achievement you CAN'T hit the weakspots only kill with the statues

@JhOnNYHD your right I killed it 3 times with statues and the axe and didn't get the achievement so I attempted to just let him roll in to all the statues and I got it thanks for your comment

Idk why they made this one so difficult even on easy settings its probably the most OP boss in any game I have played.
Yeah defo the hardest boss, killed The Twins on hard mode in seconds.
