I loved ❤ this entire video! I’m a huge fan of Merit! I think their complexion stick is so underrated in my opinion. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve repurchased the complexion stick and their Great Skin Instant Glow Serum with Niacinamide! My skin loves that serum! I love their bronzing stick, their Brush #1, and their blushes! I ordered one of their eyeshadow pots but it came broken. I love the entire look, you look so beautiful (as always) I’m going to purchase the Laura Mercier brush you used and the very pretty lip liner! I love the Lawless lip balms, their glosses and lip mask. The way you apply your makeup is how I like doing my makeup. I don’t like feeling like I have a ton of makeup on! You’ve been using the Merit complexion stick for a long time now. I have 3 of the Ilia liquid eyeshadows and they are quick and easy and they set down nicely! I really enjoyed watching this ☺️ Have a wonderful weekend!
Of course it absorbs. All sponges absorb product, more so than a brush. That said I do agree that you can get a better finish with a sponge a lot of the time. But with the right brush and technique you can get as good a finish. But it takes time and effort which a sponge doesn’t. So personally I use a sponge most of the time unless I’m going to a special event or occasion. Then I’ll take my time with a brush and occasionally finish with a sponge. 😊
Hey! If you cut these sponges in half, the inside is perfectly pink and new! They're specifically designed not to absorb product when used wet. You wet them completely, then squeeze excess water out and that keeps them from soaking in the foundation. I like the dewy finish it gives when dampened as well. It's personal preference for sure but so fascinating to cut them when they're worn out to see they're brand new inside. xo
I’m used the merit for the first time today. So far so good. Excited to see you still enjoying it. How do you get the cream blush to stay all day? I just got the talc free powder too, I’m really happy with it!

The merit stick is really nice. But I have to admit I really still like the Lancôme stick 😆
