The whole match your shade of concealer after age 35 needs to be a damn Public service announcement. I’ve never been able to get a lighter concealer to look right, it just highlights any hollowness, lines & shows shadows in weird places.
The double eyeliner just does something kinda magical❤
I'm 35 and finally switched up my under eye concealer game, so true that we need to adapt as we age! Now I do two TINY dots of the Lancome "Effacernes Waterproof Protective Undereye Concealer" and only in the darkest spots. For the first time ever, I no longer use powder under my eyes. I never thought I would see the day where I didn't set with powder. But having it dewey and moist looks so much better, and doesn't get crepey. The Lancome concealer doesn't crease somehow even without powder! I used to use so much Tarte concealer, like mounds of it, and set it with Laura Mercier powder in my 20s. So funny how old techniques become terrible as we age!

I love the Clinique Acne Solutions foundation too! My Clinique girl at Dillard’s told me they reformulated it. I bought a “new” one and love it just as much. This one is not supposed to transfer on clothes, etc.

I have used a concealer that’s just a little bit darker than my skin tone (just a tad) and I really liked the result. I’m glad I’m not alone in that. I thought I might be a little nuts…lol. A happy accident of picking the wrong shade online.
