My first thought would be the front end mods (looks like a snow plow attachment point) since they usually tap into the lights to add plow lights. Maybe they shorted something and the BCM was just stuck in error and needed a reset. Not an expert.
I would be willing to bet a beer on that is exactly what happened. With the western plows they add a module in the trucks lighting system so when the plow is hooked up it shuts down the trucks front lighting and the plow lights are used. I didn't have any issues with my 2019 350srw. Ask the customer when it started. Before plow system was mounted or after.
My friend had the same problem LEDS in the front and I conducted in the back so I put LEDS in the back and it took care of the problem. I learned a couple of years ago that you don’t combine the two.
The plow. Whoever did the plow install, assuming it was done recently, if they had the grille off and the headlights unplugged to wire in the truck side lighting harness. One commenter below mentioned he had his tail lights unplugged for installing something in his bed, and after plugging back in, it flashed fast on the dash. To me, this sounds like when a headlamp/tail lamp are unplugged with the 12v battery still connected, that somehow its glitching the bulb outage detection. At least in GM land, first step in most of the service procedures we have is disconnect the 12v battery. If whatever module runs the bulb outage is still awake when the lights are unplugged.
So on my 2023 I have noticed 2 odd things. 1 my auto sensing wipers are erratic as hell. Sometimes they don’t work sometimes they do. Then when it starts up occasionally the dash on start up does some weird reboot that beeps VERY loud like something wrong but after a second is fine. I have not hooked up FDRS yet to check it so idk what it could be yet

Serious question, not trolling. I’ve own 4 different domestic vehicles. All were plagued with electrical issues. Two were brand new. Chevy 2500, and a f250 power stroke. The ford was undrivable after 45,000 miles. I’ve also owned 4 Toyotas. From Camry all the way to tundra. Zero issues. My question is do people normally have these issues with domestic vehicles? Always seems to be electrical for me.
My brand new 22 250 platinum had right turn signal fast flash but lights were normal, My dealer had my truck for 3 months trying to fix ended up being a bad tail light..
Mine hyper flashes but it’s because of the LEDs I put in the rear. I didn’t add resistors because they get extremely hot. The OEM bulbs got so hot they started to burn the bulb socket.
Damn! Have you tried one some that have built in resistors? I have lasfit 7443s in my ranger with the resistors and they're badass. It even says before you buy that if you let it flash for a while they will get hot and hyperflash to cool down.

I just took mine to the dealer and they had to order a new lamp but because of the on going strike he is not sure when he will receive the replacement lamp....any info you can provide is helpful...I have only had my truck for a month....2023 Platinum
I have a 2021 Explorer that shows a fast blinker on the left side only... exterior works fine. It's a fleet car so we just deal with it. The shop mechanic can't figure it out.
Keep in mind you’re comparing an STX with small wheels and tires to arod’s high trim truck with larger wheels. I actually don’t think the new truck looks bad, especially in this STX trim. But without the LED headlights, the new model is ugly on the front.
Separate controllers for upper and lower rear turn signals bulbs is ridiculous. 2023 Owner: "Man, my upper controller went out, I had to replace it. Then my lower. After that, one of the two bulbs failed, and then someone hit my tail light housing. I had to replace that too. Now I'm out $3,700." 2005 Owner: "I bought a set of rear bulbs for $7. Problem solved."
Any service bulletin on this yet? Not sure if this is a related issue with a resistance issue on these trucks. But I have a 2007 camper trailer and towed it for the first time with the new truck and the brake controller wouldn’t recognize the trailer. I added a load balancer resistor to the trailer side of the brake controller wire and now the truck brake controller recognizes the trailer brakes. Not sure why it would make a difference but like I said it is a 2007 trailer so it does not have any LED lights. And the lights all work fine, it was just the brakes and the truck brake controller.
The behavior is as if the truck was programmed for incandescent front turn signals but actually had LED in front. I'm not clear if that re-program turned off the outage detector, which would just make it not fast-flash if there is a real outage. And, that still leaves open the question as to how it got that way - if that's in fact what is going on.
try to check his trailer .One of customer has ten trailers so when he drives with trailer with bad lights on trailer has same issue, but when he connects to good trailer light comes normal
