Thankyou and a huge Thankyou to my Mum n Dad for Raising us on this Magical Musical Minstrels we call Runrig...BEST BAND EVER! NO COMPETITION AT ALL! Carol Anne Law. Fae Dunbartonshire...ma Hame.
Great Album. The big Wheel. Donnie is a great RunRig singer. Met Pete, iain and the keyboard guy over the years. As a person listening to RunRig you are always a winner.
What a great song.... not sure exactly what it is about.... but it has great lyrics and rhythms and beat. The percussion and acoustic guitar is brilliant. This is my favourite Runrig song... Along with Skye... I'd love to know what inspired the words.
This is what Calum writes about the song in the Flower of The West Songbook: "We first came across young David Gibson when we were involved in a promotional drive on behalf of the blood transfusion service in Edinburgh's Royal Infirmary. David was a leukaemia sufferer, and as is so often the case with people in that situation, he showed remarkable spirit and determination in the face of adversity. He died shortly after we got to know him. I suppose we saw in him, a little of what we had all experienced with Robert, our accordionist who died of cancer in 1986."
@@RW-nr6bh Oh thankyou I didn't know that.. Where would I find it pls? Is it on DVD be a great Christmas Gift for my Mum n Dad they LOVE RUNRIG. So do all of our Celtic Family. I never know what to get them nowadays 😅 Blessings 🏴💙🦢💙🏴

Peter is the keyboard guy? Is this another Pete? I wish they'd bring out a proper DVD of The Big Wheel and all the other videos I have on VHS.
God this is such a beautiful uplifting song. They don't write and produce them like this now.
Best singer by far! Donnie Munro! 👌
So true
Donnie was a million times than the other guy!!👍👍
Den har været min ynglingssang/melodi siden jeg hørte den første gang.♥️👍♥️
Will be forever indebted to a great high school teacher, Mr. Pat Roberto, for introducing me to Runrig.
that is so special
Runrig was, is the winner!
Both singers are great, the music timeless......the band an Legend!
Wrong. Bruce is a terrible, nasal country bumpkin.
Absolutely beautiful music. Great video as well.

Why dont they do a Runrig movie about how they met etc?
Actually sounds like a brilliant idea 👌👌👍
They have done now: "Runrig. There must be a place."
