Really enjoying this Yannis! Track 9, Yorgantz channeling fellow Armenian Khachaturian there. Beautiful rendition of folk, disco and 'Sabre Dance'! :-)
Carnival is cancelled here in Brazil, but people would still consider strange that I'm passing a Sunday of this holiday listening to songs in Armenian, specially when taking on account that my roots couldn't be more distant from that country. This is one of the things that make me like this channel.
Wonderful selection of music. I remember one or two songs from my childhood in Fresno, California. I am not from an Armenian family but my father used to listen to a local Armenian radio station. This takes me back.
Another cool collection of great vibes and music. It reminded me of my time in France when I was listening to the Armanian radio and crying my eyes out because most of the songs reminded me of Diyarbakır, my hometown in Turkey. This is not the same gendre but still made me happy to remember
Bosver huzunleri gelin yarinlari birlikte mutlu yasayalim. Ben de egeliyim Amsterdamdandan hosuma gitti muzik dinledim ozellikle yorgantz serop jan cok hoş. Tabii digerleride.
Haven't heard "Yorgantz - Serop Jan" in years! Thanks for the amazing set Habibi Funk, made me very happy to listen to it! And thanks to My Analog Journal for the amazing channel, love you, your mission, and your mixes!

These are great. Have been scooping up many Armenian American releases. Big fan of Kekedijan protege (?) Steve Minassian who is backed by Ara and Seto. Sadly, no Ara for me yet, but on the list.
I’ve listened to a fair few of the mixes on this channel, and this one is one of the most awesome. Well put together, some really funky tunes in there. Loved it
That was such a wow for me! Great gig and vibe from the neighbouring country. Would be nice to see someone invited from Azerbaijan. Greetings from Budapest to you and your geusts! Keep up the good work.
@@ilirsvenfrancous9011 I would say that Greek 60s were more inspired by the Italian 50s & 60s, but I was mostly talking about that oriental soft rock sound

Hallo Habibi! Grüße aus Stuttgart! Kanalın çok başarılı dostum!!
Aram Satyan - Обещание Весны < That's a groovy record
Greetings from turkey! It's so great to hear the music of our neighbours
Music aside, everyone's decor skills are off the charts!
This whole channel has so much decor inspiration, I’m taking so many notes for my own place lol
I judge DJs solely on their plant game.
@@mitchwallace4756 good luck finding the fake ones
Armenian talent in art is undeniable

Your Armenian tracks are awesome. Haven’t heard a lot of them. It’s always pleasing to listen songs in your mother tongue. Thank you)
There are so many good breakbeats on this wtf.

Thanks 4 this awesome set... respect
Right from the start, I was vibing - keep up the great work :]
Fantástico!!...Lo disfruté de principio a fin.
Comment to support the video. Awesome set. Sounds so retro and homely nostalgic (especially 3rd song).
Love it! That repeating blending technique kills me though!
Beautiful, especially in love with 'Minas - Im Papake', heard it first sampled by 'Bei Ru - Im papak' :)
Come to think of it, I think the version Bei Ru sampled was Garo Terzian's, but oh well :)
I don't know how you guys do this, but, keep up the good work.
great mix , awesome music, I love the minas song im papake
The thing I needed at 3am 🕺🕺
I’ve listened to a fair few of the mixes on this channel, and this one is one of the most awesome. Well put together, some really funky tunes in there. Loved it
Amazing as always. Thank you for such a great afternoon groove!
this was a nice surprise was soooooooooooo not expecting this anytime soon
Really great. I was vining sooo much with the playlist and the vid. Thank you and hi from St. Petersburg!

20:42 bomb track, serious groove
For sure. I can perfectly imagine this being played on a good dancefloor.
this whole playlist is a true bomb and I am awfully missing going dancing to a club
Agreed! My favorite of the mix.
Thank you for sharing this gem.
Love this! Introduced me to so much that I’ve never heard. Thank you.
Habibi Funk is my hero! Thanks MAJ!
Saw Habibi Funk and clicked so fast! Thank you for another great set. Always so surprised how international groove is, love to see it ☺🙌🏽

Great mix!!!
Some good bangers in this playlist!
This is just so insane.
Rocking the audiorama globe speakers from Grundig 👍🏻👍🏻
Love this ❤
My pregnant wife playing this set to our foetus by way of a Blue Tooth speaker pressed up against her womb
Serop Djan di Marten Yorgantz is my favorite 💖
stank face achieved for the intro in Yorgantz - Ammenain Serdov
I gotta smoke up to this
շատ լաւ!!!!🎉
damn Habibi Funk❤
Brilliant
Очень интересно!
Yes!!
Solid
That guy loves cold coffee 😄
hahaha. I actually don't mind it that much...
You can't have everything😃 You've got a lot out of it for that. The set is super relaxed👍🏻
Thank you 🙏🏻
I like it is nice
The sound is very similar to Greek 60s
The whole near East, Balkans were so inspired by 60s/70s American disco. Lots of similar sounds with their own unique twist
@@ilirsvenfrancous9011 I would say that Greek 60s were more inspired by the Italian 50s & 60s, but I was mostly talking about that oriental soft rock sound
Anyone knows what is he using for looping? Bomb selection as always from Habibi Funk
it's just the regular pioneer mixer. the last few generations have had this option.
@@habibifunk thanks! I’m currently looking into getting a mixer so I’ll check that out 🙏🏽
Wow!
😍😍😍

Nice

I wish there’s a Persian mix :(
You tell us what was that incense scent!
The last but one song is Ղափամայ, not Ղաֆամայ there's a typo on the 3rd letter.
That Aram Satyan joint is a banger! What is the English name? I tried to look it up on UA-cam but I couldn't find it
Aram Satyan is a great composer. Name of the song is translated as "The promise of spring". You can find here ua-cam.com/video/Jy-qDIiGQdM/v-deo.html
where can i find Raysa Meguerdtchian - Arekague. ?
This is hevant.

does anyone know who made the posters on the back wall?
it's posters that we had done for an exhibition. unfortunately they are one offs with the writing added by hand.
