She was BRILLIANT singing with Peter Gabriel on his tour. I'm so glad she did that. Search for "Secret World", Peter's tour, and you'll see Paula showcased for the first time. That was her launch. Paula is so humble, I really love her.
I caught the broadcast where Paula Cole sang "Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?" on Rosie's show in April of 1997. That's where the memory has settled-in for me. That song was one of several, solid songs that really drove the Summer of 1997 now twenty-two years ago in the rearview mirror.
Could u or anyone else in the comments type up songs that defined the year 1997 to you! (Summer, winter, whatever) i was born in 97 , I’m 24 now ! n i love music but wanna know what was going on the year I was born from others perspectives🤍
I saw Paula Cole the 1st time live in November 1993 on Peter Gabriel`s "Secret World"-tour - i think it was her 1st live show in front of bigger audience
Paula wrote “I don’t want to wait” when she realized her grandparents were aging and no longer able to do what they wanted etc, so it’s a pretty personal song. When Rosie’s show put it up on the speakers, they all laugh and sing along and have fun, but interesting to think about how personal the song is to Paula.
My granma says that Rose ODonnell really wore that hat for serious and not as a joke. I said oh it must have been the style in the old days and she said no, it looked as weird then as it does now. My granma says she dressed like Macdonna in high school, and NOT Rosey!!!!
She’s from Rockport, Massachusetts, just north of Boston where there were and still are a lot of Irish but she’s 50% Irish/Northern Irish, 25% 👁-talion, and 25% Polish
Paula Cole was an incredible addition to Peter Gabriel's Secret World Tour.
YES!
She sure was
Saw that tour on the Boston stop. Still my favorite concert ever!
shame she didn't do more Gabriel tours as she was so good and had such a fantastic range
That's where I know here from.

She was incredibly talented and to think she was only 30 years old at the time of this interview!
She was 28 when this album came out

That the only voice in my opinion more influentiol, Aretha Franklin gave her the award was one of those magic moments
she's absolutely beautiful in this days ..🌹❤️😷
The 'This Fire' album has so many great songs I personally like 'Hush Hush Hush'. A duet with Peter Gabriel.
Imagine nowadays celebrity going casually through her hair with her hand. Ah simpler times.. Now every lash has its own stylist.
O don't know how her granddaughters being proud watching this now..
Her collab with Rosie was dope.

She seems so meek. She is so naturally beautiful. Her voice is amazing.

She was so amazing on the Secret World tour. Very much love Paula. Rosy, not so much.

Paula Cole holds up but Rosie sure the hell doesn’t.
Is it just me or does Paula look Irish?(I know she ain't)
