Location is of course very important. As an ocean lover, I need to be able to watch sunset/sunrise from my place. 😂❤🌅🌊

15 mins away if the parking is not too expensive by the beach - lower insurance premiums - lower cost on maintenance and away from the crowd for a quite mornings and peaceful nights!

Great video as always, Jamie! Last August I rented a condo on the 300 block of Coast Blvd in La Jolla and I was pleasantly surprised how quite La Jolla is in the morning and early afternoon on weekdays. And that 300 block of Coast Blvd is perfect. Very quite, across the street from the sand and walking distance to the village. I could live there forever!!

Can you do a vid on The Convoy District? Food is important for me if I’m moving down to SD.

i am a beach person, but i am trying to decide whether to rent in pacific beach or downtown san diego. is it even worth it to rent in your twenties throughout san diego or to buy.

It all comes down to your long-term goals. Homeownership provides security; security from having to move and knowing you're on a fixed payment. If you are financially ready to buy, then I always recommend buying..but again, if you don't see yourself staying in the same place for longer than 2 years, then its best to rent.

    I live in Boston, MA.
We have snow, 🌧️ rain ☔️ and salty roads.
Would that do any more damage than to live by any of the San Diego Beaches?
For your first question, I want 3 to 4 bedrooms, and be by the beach, and have garage space I’d like to own a Tesla and charge it at my garage and have it attached to solar panels to make it not just more affordable, but also more convenient. Space is important.
I also want to be within walking distance to the beach.
I want to stay around $1 million range so I can remain debt-free.
One of the best feelings in the world is completely owning your own home.
During peak season and peak hours, Boston is the same way. Parking is difficult on the street or by a meter, but there’s always space in one of the garage is but they’re not cheap. Depending on where I wanna go I typically don’t mind that as I’m willing to pay for a spot that I’m guaranteed to have. Where is the free ones are just way too difficult to find. In Boston there is public transport, so it takes you pretty much all over the place without a car.
I would prefer San Diego because you don’t have snow, which is very expensive and also physically demanding. The snow and stress that it has on the community will once in a while, have people fighting for parking spots and trying to save them with furniture. If they have to dig their car out. It’s not fun.
Do people fight over parking spots in San Diego even though there’s no snow? ❄️ if you still wanted to get to snow, that it’s possible for you to go skiing somewhere in the mountains, and then come back down and go to the beach in the same day.
    is that true?

houses are built differently on the West Coast compared to the East Coast to adapt to the different climates. Yes, the good ol' saying about being able to drive to the mountains and the beach in the same day is true. The nearest mountain to ski at is less than 3 hours away.
