Medieval wargamer puts out fantastic Barons War stuff. This game, rhe Footsore minis... Gorgeous and super high quality.
I picked this game up at Carronade in Falkirk, Scotland from Sarissa. Super excited to get it on the table
keep going! this game needs some good video tutorials, not because difficult, but great game!, and agree shame of warhost of missing more viedoes.
Thank you! It's a great game with fantastic minis. I've seen a couple of other channels launch videos recently so hopefully the game will get more attention
I can only offer an apology for not making any videos, yet.
The retinue deals come with the rule book. It's a great deal.
It certainly is, it's how I got my copy!
First ,great videos ,second ,convinced me to order the books ,dice and sample pack of miniatures, deep breath 👍
Thanks! It really is a great game, I just wish I had more opportunities to play it
Awesome miniatures and thanks for the shoutout!
Thank you, and sorry for getting the channel name wrong!
Most excellent!
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing
My pleasure
Lovely set up and great video!
Thank you, there's more to come (when I get them edited 🤣)
Just ordered the rulebook and the crusader book too!
Mwhahaa yes! Join the gang.
Thanks for starting this series, you look like you have some great terrain too, let’s have a video on that too please.
Thank, I did actually do a video on my terrain a little while ago (ua-cam.com/video/pK_V-0N7prw/v-deo.html) but I've been busy making some more so it is probably time for another one!
Very good video my friend!
Thank you I appreciate it! I've got another lined up and hopefully I'll look at how playing a turn works.
I have just had my first game of Barons War, looking around to see if I played it correctly.
One thing that puzzles me is the coherency, I keep all the figures in one unit in base to base contact. Why would I want to space them out ?
I think (and I might be wrong) that you can spread them out more to control more space, for example if you're trying to control an objective or block a choke point. To move past a group you have to leave a 1" gap, if they're spread out you can keep control of the space. But, if they're spread out and you get flanked it can really limit the number of warriors who can fight. Hope that helps!
@@PaintbrushPirate Thanks for the reply. Dare I say it sounds a bit "cheesy" but will have to play some more games to see if I like Cheese. Must be some reason why it's there.
Hi, I probably will not play this game but you made it's presentation very appealing. I may have to revisit this in some time. Thanks and Happy New Year.
Thank you! One of the biggest appeals for me is the minis themselves, I'd recommend them for any early medieval ruleset.
