- In this game of Sharp Practice, I play Joe McGinn's scenario in the 2020 Too Fat Lardies Magazine using the 100 Days Sharp Practice lists.

Wow - that was a bloody game! Very evocative of the bloody fighting in Plancenoit. The Prussian Fusiliers played a blinder with that Ambuscade. I was on the edge of my seat watching that. Sharpe Practice works really well when you run through it like this. A great scenario and battle report. 👍
Tiffin? Surely that's Schnapps or Brandy for this fight!
A great looking table Alex! That was a true bum rush! The Guard paid the price in this fight.
Cant beat a bit of Sharpe Practice - always entertaining
Very enjoyable game love the table layout brilliant hope that if you play this again you will be video in it🤠🤠🤠👍👍
Excellent. I love a bit of Sharp Practice.
Cracking game Alex. Love Sharp!
I am still a newbie when it comes to Napoleonics both miniatures and hex n counter.
I only have about 56 28 mm French infantry built and painted. Still have about the same amount of British and 60 Prussians to build n paint.
What piqued my curiosity to get more involved in Napoleonics was worthington 's book game Waterloo and then based on that white dog games crisis on the right, Plancenoit 1815. Wow.
That's why I bought the 28 mm figures. Just need to finish them. Also, I have jumped into operational studies groups, Napoleonic games and I have four of those .
As soon as I get my 15 mm Native Americans and barbarians, elves and orcs painted the Prussian 28's will be next followed by the Brits.
Appreciate your effort. Good photos. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful!
definitely a great game
great game and table nice to see a more urban napoleonic scenario - what company are the buildings from? they look nice
Cheers, they are from various places, Sarrissa, Empires at War and 3D prints mostly.
@@StormofSteelWargaming Thanks i'm definitely of fan of sharp practice and also play it in 15/18mm mostly with eureka and battle honors figures which is great fun - more into the earlier revolutionary wars scenarios (1798-1800) but its always great fun
Looks great!
You said you’re using 18mm?
Are they AB’s?
I was hoping to use AB’s for SharpPractice, what single bases are you using.
Also your terrain, buildings
Thanks
Tony
Cheers, yes they are mostly AB Miniatures and they are based on 15mm MDF bases with the leaders on 20mm bases. The buildings are a mix of MDF and 3D printed ones from various manufacturers.
I don't get it. Why was no one using the buildings for cover? What is the point of a town fight where neither side takes cover? I enjoy your channel but this fight confuses me. Nice figs though, nice table. :)
It moved to fast for any building occupation and delaying tactics.
It's better to stay out of them and have the manoeuvrability, IMO
