Any developments with this? I'm looking at putting in my Civic which is RWD now. I'd like to run this with a cam and heads and a T56 behind it, and eventually boost it up to around 600whp
I really want to use this platform to build and swap into my 80' Chevy LUV build. That crank is the only thing turning me off. Any chance of the aftermarket making a forged OddFire version (and camshafts to go along with it)?
The 1st ones in the dealership i seen apart look very promising my late friend who built 4.3 ARCA truck engines would be very excited about this one. Glad that you are doing them. Might have to use one in my RX7.
I'd love to mess with this engine if the market wasn't nuts for them. Still floating around 1700-4500+ for the long block. Really would kill for a top mount roots / tvs blower.
I have a 2021 LV1 with a 8L90E trans out of an Express Van with 2 miles on the entire set up…looking to turbocharge it to swap into my 1987 Buick T-type…Glad to see the aftermarket is backing this V6 …it’s pretty stout …many GEN V LT parts will interchange (valve train mostly) ….hopeful the aftermarket will continue to back it up….Thanks for the video/info

I like the amount of new content y’all are posting 👍
This is the engine they should have used in the Colorado
Yes yes it is! Imagine this thing with forged internals and a set of 🐌! Would be badass!
@@lukemorgan3368 Or a supercharger like the 3800s back in the day
@@EricFixalot That would be badass! Super torquey
Good information thanks for sharing

I stand corrected, the crank is in fact forged after looking closer at the parting lines. So wanted to correct that.
This engine would be a good one to swap into an older Jeep. Plenty of power and more room than you have with a V8 swap.
I have a 3.4 (94 Camaro motor) in my Cherokee and it’s ok but nothing like this v6 they are working on.

Might as well get a V8 for the price
Thanks for your support for these cool little V6s. Looking forward to the LVX Trinity Intake……
I need on of these engines just to drag a small blocks ass!!!

How about the balance shaft? Do you forsee any troubles with that, or do you delete it?
Do you know what the engine weighs all in?
What about the v6 in the gen 5 camaro?
Or the gen 4 Camaro 3.4 in my Cherokee. Need a cam.
