Worked wonders in Overwatch against every hanzo or projectile character. Very effective against the wingman pistol too.(You dont hold the counter strafe keys btw, just tap tap tap)

A big tip from a season 0 player don't get discouraged from your deaths learn from them and also enjoy the creative ways people take you out 😂 paying attention to what they do also allows you to build a counter for it. Another thing is don't pick someone else's playstyle and stick with it create your own unique playstyle that incorporates some other techniques that you like from others. Also get weird with it if someone doesn't know your next move it makes it a lot harder to hit you. Also if your controller remap your jump to either your L2 or R2 triggers unless you have a strike pack and move your crouch/slide to L3 opens up a lot more movement opportunities when your trying to climb/ jump and mantle jump. Also allows you to jump, slide and look behind you all in one motion.

One thing I can add is that some people try to do this even when no one is shooting at them. If you're shooting at someone at medium to long range and they aren't able to shoot back easily, just sit still and land those shots. Strafing is only useful when you have to dodge shots because it makes it harder for you to land shots as well.

My major issue is that I crouch too much. I use paddles too and have crouch on hold, but there's always a strange feeling of "I'm not getting too low enough" since just tapping it makes you squat an inch 😂
My muscle memory all these years just have me crouching down to where I feel is low enough and then spamming the everloving hell out of crouch and I can tell I'm just permanently crouched when I do that.
It's hard to find the line and practicing in 3rd person in the range doesn't seem to be helping. I still look slow af haha

@@updownleftright883 You need to do that + do damage. Once you are taking flesh damage your character starts flinching that's why 100 shields vs 100 health the shield will win. Also if you are really really good you can just dodge shots from average players.

jump strafe while reloading your empty gun
after the strafe is done you're enemy usually couldn't track you because of the speed it produces
when you're gun is reloaded , you can take him out

Do not jump strafe while reloading unless you have good air control. If the enemies gun is not empty you are sure to be one clipped. As I got better at aiming I noticed the most reliably I could kill someone was when they start jumping in the middle of 1v1. Of course if they know how to air strafe in the jump then it is not easy to track.
