"Unfinished. Gaudí to his credit never gave up on his dream, but that's not usually how it goes. It usually isn't a speeding bus that keeps the brown pointy weird church from getting built. Most of the time it is too difficult or expensive, or too scary. It's only once you've stopped, that you realize how hard it is to start again. So you force yourself not to want it. But it's always there and until you finish it, it always will be... "
Fun fact, the building Ted was talking about was consecrated as a minor basilica by Pope Benedict shortly after this episode aired. And apparently, they're still working on building it.
Also, he mentions a speeding bus, but it was actually a tram which hit and killed the architect of the sagrada familia (the building he was talking about).
Part of the charm of La Sagrada Familia is that it is never finished. Believe me, I moved to Barcelona, Spain (the city where the church is located) 3 years ago and it is always under construction.
My own theory is that she was leaving the messages to a wrong number, hence Don never received them, and she never knew until a Spanish speaker woman answered. A single wrong digit changes everything.
Well I think when she realized that she doesn’t remember the number she realized that slowly but surely she is going to heal.So even if she had the chance to call from history she didn’t need to because she started believing that she can recover.
If only she had discussed the job offer she got with her SO like literally every person would do, instead of just declining in the name of making a sacrifice for him.
Ted almost gets hit by a bus in a scene right after this for dramatic irony. Since they serve virtually the same function, they just changed it to bus to draw a clearer parallel.
Plot hole, Lily “is allergic to dogs”, so it doesn’t make sense the “where is the poop robin” don’t remember on what episode she said that she was allergic

In both cases, the individuals are ashamed, and that often shows on their face. Hence the catchphrase. It's not a stupid comparison at all. Lily would be great at “Among Us”
Although she can’t keep a secret if she’s the impostor.
Well ohhh shiiit, but she kept her responsibility for breaking Ted's relationships a long time secret 🤔

Metal music at background every time Robin's getting intense. So hilarious

Not exactly metal more like heavy blues
I'd prefer "Murder Train" from The Foreskins lol
Murder train still kicks🤣🤣🤣
It's not metal... At. All.
HIMYM -Along with fun and laugh it teaches many life lessons. At one or other situation we can totally relate our life with it.

The ironic part is this is also why Robin and Barney broke up. So she was upset-mad about Don but she did same thing to Barney..
Uh no it wasn't. They broke up cause they weren't happy being together not because Robin wanted to move away for her job.
they weren't happy cause Robin kept having to move around cause of Robin's job
