I saw his thread on basschat where he explains how to build a 1x12 cab. As a french person it was difficult to understand the whole process/science in english but this guy is awesome. Him and other people spent a lot of time and energy to bring us their knowledge, content etc... Thank you Phil, we're missing guys like you in France..

Thank you Roman, that is very kind. I'd love to think of you building a cab at sometime. A French cab with a Spanish loudspeaker in it with a bit of help from the UK. Sounds good to me. Sorry the sound quality isn't good in this video. If someone else wants to read the Basschat content here is the link www.basschat.co.uk/topic/324014-easy-12-cab-build/

Has setting the grill back 3cm been taken into account with regard to calculating volume of the internal space and size of pipe vents ?
That question aside, many thanks for the video I’m about to build it soon.

I Saw the thread and found this vídeo. Very helpful people! Im from Alicante, close to the beyma Factory. I hace some doubts, the last version uses 2 or 4 ports? And is It 1/2 inch plywood what is being used? Thanks a lot, Phil and all the people involved in the project

Sorry I hadn't noticed this, i didn't put the video up myself as Woody filmed from the audience and i don't get notifications. I built two versions of this a 50l version with four ports and the one in the video with a 30l cab and two ports. The designs are both published in Basschat.co.uk www.basschat.co.uk/topic/324014-easy-12-cab-build/?tab=comments#comment-3513914, It looks like Beyma are stopping production of the SM212 but the 30l cab works really well with the cheaper Beyma12CMV2 rather better than the SM212 in fact. It also works well in the 50l cab.

OK this MIGHT be informativ... but you are in no control of your presentation - you are hardly understandable because you're ways to far away from the microphone and you are talking much too fast. Simply said: You are wasting the watchers time

I don’t think this presentation is for us. I think he’s giving a lesson to the people in the room and there happens to be a camera on.

All the great information in the video and your only comment is that Phil is wasting the watcher's time??? If you bothered to look at the description or watched the video properly you can easily see he's talking to an audience of people in the room itself and this is a recording of it. If English isn't your first language then it might seem like he's talking too fast but it's easy to understand IMHO. Great advice Phil and thanks Woody for posting.

Come on man, this is perfectly understandable.
And it is actually great information that he's giving away for free, I may add.
If you cannot understand it, blame it on yourself, maybe your understanding of spoken English is not that good. But that's not the speaker's fault.
