- Is it a cork or a bobber?!? Decided to take my wife Brittany who is pregnant with our twins fishing for the first time since we had found out. The day started slow but we finally found a quirky way to catch the catfish. Nothing like fresh catfish and bass filets for dinner. Looks like the twins may be a little good luck! Hope yall enjoy!

Martin, when I fished for catfish, I used white bread minus the crust rolled up in a ball. Plus, used hot dogs lol.

I wish my wife liked to fish and hunt. She doesn’t have a problem with me doing it. In fact about August she starts asking when hunting season starts. Getting me out of her hair for a while I guess. I could have probably had straight As in college my first two years if I had not liked to fish so much. I would show up and get announced as present, and if the clas got boring, I was sneaking out of class when the professor’s back was turned, and I was headed to the bank of my fishing hole. I did graduate, so I must not have missed too much in class.

Small ones eat fine. I generally don’t keep em over 16 inches. But in this case we are draining that place and rebuilding so might as well keep em all
