I am menopausal, and had a very large fibroid. Unfortunately, I had endometrial cancer, also. This was not diagnosed initially, because focus was on the fibroid. It is possible to have both!!!
Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s true that multiple conditions can sometimes overlap and be missed initially. Wishing you strength and support on your journey! Let us know if we can help you on this.
I am currently fighting uterine and cervical cancer, am in chemo, they caught it early, my symptoms were a very heavy like period after my monthly stopped for 3 almost 4 years then came back with a vengeance, went through so many pads, and leaking accidents, I went into the dr's office freaking out because it wouldn't stop, they did mri, x-rays and a pelvic exam, and found a tumor is both uterus and cervix, when they did find it, it had just started to spread outside of cervix, I was sent to chemo not even 2 weeks later, I go for my 2nd chemo treatment July 21st, my hair is starting to fall out in clumps and it's scaring the crap out of me the amount of hair that is pulled from my head when I brush it every day, at this rate I'll be totally bald before the end of this month, which again scares me because I currently have waist length hair (not for long at this rate) I suffer from severe anxiety, and this has been causing issues with my anxiety and making my depression worse, I have bad self esteem issues and have already decided that when enough hair falls out to where it is noticeable, I will go get my head shaved, but then I will NEVER sent foot outside my apt till my hair grows back in, I'm in chemo till Dec, Jan 1st is when hopefully my hair will start growing back in, I can't afford a wig, I bought chemo hats, but for my anxiety that is not good enough to be seen out in public with no hair, yes I'm in therapy, but the Dr has NO idea the BS I'm going through on a daily basis
@@GetOilyWithKathleen I just had surgery on November 17th, abdominal hysterectomy to totally remove the tumor, still have a few cancer cells the oncology Dr wants me to go through 3 more treatments, they found out what type I had so they are adding a 3rd medication to kill it off, then she said to keep it dead, I'll have to go in every 6 weeks for the rest of my life, small price to pay for my life, I wish you good luck 🤞🍀 I pray for your total healing and remission
