The last 2k I played was 07 and as much as I adore the game and it’s pitching in particular, I like the actual pitching mechanics with pinpoint settings more than any other game I’ve ever played. However, something I really miss from 2k was if you started warming a pitcher up and let him go to long, it could take away from their stamina. You didn’t want guys cold, and you couldn’t just start warming up your bullpen from the 1st inning without consequences.
I had hoped to find a step-by-step tutorial because I just started trying pinpoint pitching there are no instructions that I have found. How are you moving the designated area you want to pitch to
i started just now and... i can't, its impossible, how are people doing it??? i have tried to do quick, can't do it fast enough, or i do it too quickly and i never can follow that line that you have to and if i try it slow... you have like fraction of a second time to do it... With pulse though... i am unstoppable pitcher. Yet, i still always fail to strike out every batter. My record is like 24 or 25 batters, don't remember. i think my record for 3 strike strikeouts ( in a row) is,.. 12, or was it 15. Every MLB the Show game cheats.. so i don't think its possible to strike out all 27 batters.. through 9 innings. Ive tried every difficulty level... though i havent never changed the sliders... but that would be cheating... then again.. the game cheats as well... I guess pitching with pulse is super easy but with pinpoint... impossible. I started another road to the show some while ago, Closing Pitcher (for the first time). 567 saves, 1019 strikeouts (7th season) 1 x MVP, 3x Cy Young, 7 x All Star, 6 x Reliever Of the Year. difficulty level : hall of fame
You are good with pulse pitching for me you just move the thumb stick and you adjust off the feedback it’s pretty hard to be good at it not going to lie bit the more practice the better
@@AndrewRoyyI’m new and this pitching made me exponentially worse. Out of 36 innings trying it I never had a single perfect pitch, very few good, and didn’t go a single inning without giving up at least two runs.
@@AndrewRoyy maybe try being humble and helpful if you have a lackluster UA-cam that is full of shit and gets no views. Maybe if you are going to send out replies make sure you have a leg to stand on bud
I started using pinpoint and I’m really getting good at it I just had a perfect baseball game 💪🏾
Thats great to hear glad you are pitching better!
I’ve used meter for like 10 years, with the new custom practice I’m trying to transition to pinpoint and it ain’t easy😅
It’s not easy but when you get it down you are moving 😆
Take a break from the show for a little and play some skate 3, then come back. Bet you start nailing pitches
@@jagaloon14 🤣🤣
I genuinely don't get how they managed to make the pitching this awful compared to the 2k mlb games lmaoo
I mean you get a lot more calls this year on the black
@@AndrewRoyy yeah I feel like 24 has been a real step up from 23 especially online servers
@@jordantheslumpgod2922 ya it’s better for sure from 23

The right thumb stick and then you follow the pattern
@@AndrewRoyy***left stick to aim, right stick to do the design
@@corradocampo ya something like that its just muscle memory at this point
Exactly, it wouldn’t let me pitch
Why the hell is the pitching this difficult it’s pathetic.
Pinpoint is hard but keep practicing you got it
I’m trying to figure out.. the career mode I chose to be a pitcher …. I haven’t swung a bat yet ! Can I bat if I’m a pitcher?
Only if your a two way player which you choose at the beginning of rtts
youre literally not explaining howe to do it
For pinpoint you use the thumb stick and trace it and flick down when the circle is small simple as that
Why cant i see the line when i pitch tho?
Nvm got it
It’s happens I get it 😅
I can’t find the pitching interference in the sittings
@@julioviruet you go to pitching controls and it will be in there
is there a way to change it to classic
Yes you can change that in the settings for your pitching type
found it thanks man!@@AndrewRoyy
How do unlock bordered circle? Can u change it?
You talking about pinpoint?
@AndrewRoyy is there a way to pitch with the chevron style from last year rather than pinpoint.
@@bohbm3 yes I think its still in the game
I’m so confused I barely saw a good timing 😂 chillll

I don’t even know how to throw the ball using pinpoint
its all with the joystick
I'm pitching 3 hit shutouts with the normal pitching...not sure this is necessary 😊
for new players it is
