@@justbelieve215works like crazy bro I started doing this and it literally changed the way I hit . Still gotta work on my timing but this tip helped me more than anything.
As a veteran player in a slump who knows all of these tips and tricks, it was very beneficial to just sit down and listen to this as a refresher. Now let's go hit championship rank with the little time left today 😅
It’s eye tracking and coordination not something tht can be fixed overnight the best thing is to just keep playing and practicing and you will hopefully get the timing down
i just straight up don’t know how to tell which pitch is coming. when the release has tells that are microscopic and i’m playing on a TV i literally can’t tell if it’s fastball up or curve low. this game is ass for the causal player
Been Playing MLB The Show's since 2006 - Present. And now at 48 yrs old, MLB 24 batting in RTTS, is kicking my ass LoL. thanks for the tips, Maybe I can start hitting some dingers!.

Honestly the best video I’ve seen. I’m at 524 but was honestly getting carried by my team and pitching. I use to be the guy whiffing at every single outside slider 😂
I watched so many other videos on how to do better at this game and nobody worked for me but your advice and your settings thanks so much! I average 10 perfect perfects every game
Never played mlb, never watched baseball. This helped so much. That first tip is amazing!! I had all defaults and now I’m cranking hr’s (I’m playing rookie)
The greatest tip for me personally had to have been to focus on the release point of the pitch. Once i started doing that bomb after bomb, great video for someone who just picked the game up!
I had to come back and say as someone who was skeptical after watching so many of these videos, thank you. watching the pitcher improved my gameplay by so much. I can consistently hit on all star in one hour of watching this, and see myself consistently improving with each game. Respect+
Picked up the game today… want to get into diamonds dynasty and franchise mode.. got to say this might be best tutorial video of any video game that I’ve seen!! Thanks for the help!!
The Strike Zone Offset camera provides a slightly angled perspective, which adds a bit of depth perception. However, a first-person perspective, similar to how it feels in real life, would take the experience to the next level.
I actually suffered from carpal tunnel syndrome in my left hand (PCI HAND) because I’m a blue collar worker and I’ve gamed hard my entire life playing fast paced games like halo, rocket league, COD etc. thank you so much for bringing up the claw method

Still on 23 and doing so bad on my 2nd year in the MLB. Every ball I hit is caught on the warning track, sometimes back to back, can’t catch a break. Am gonna test all of these tips.
This video helps me a lot more better, because sometimes I’ve been struggling to hit the ball when I’m going against players or The AI’s . And sometimes I will try to swing the ball so late and that will be my fault on my end LoL 😂😂🤦🏾♂️ but sometimes I can read the pitches body language on what type of pitch is he going to throw at me. Sometimes I’m, and sometimes my I’m not doing good. But you explain this a lot better, a lot better than YFK LOL….. Your friend Kyle….💀💀😂 but thank u Sleeveless Gaming! I appreciate it!! 🤝🏾💯🔥
I'm brand new to the game, doing RTTS mode, but I'm hitting like .180 through the first 30 or so games. I tried changing camera and pci settings like you do here, and I'm better at deciphering balls from strikes by using your method of watch the pitcher and how the ball moves in relation to his body/arm, but I can't get the timing right for hitting. I'm always too late or too early... on that rare occasion when it's perfect timing it feels so good though.
The claw method is so affective! I’ve been missing most of my swings because of smashing my PSI due to reflexes and nerves. Now it’s much more softer and easier! I’ve been hitting more of my swings and I’ve been able to identify foul pitches. Big help!
how to change the settings so that the pitcher throws the ball more often not in the strike zone? Because in my game there are no walks due to the fact that the pitcher throws the ball almost always in the strike zone.
NGL, I’ve watched this video before and I couldn’t quite digest the method. But I hit an all time low slump, just lost at the plate, went games without sniffing a hit. Until I watched the video again and really started paying attention to the arm finishes. I immediately went 2 for 3 with a dinger and the next game another 2 for 3 with 2 homers off a pitcher that has owned me for years. Now I’m just disgusted at the amount of times I have struck out and or wasted at bats over the seasons of RTTS. Awesome tutorial video. I still gotta work on the discipline part though. But hopefully I can complete a personal task of hitting .300 for a season.
I just picked up this game last night (from the GamePass) since my friend bugged me to play with him, he knows Idk anything about baseball so he cooked me. But I reckon this videos gonna help me turn the tide hahahaha, great vid!!
Best way to get better. Get Precision rings. They’re 15 dollars and they help you from dropping your pci too far. They take a bit to get used to but I promise it’ll make you a better hitter. Cheers!
I couldn’t hit. I ended up checking my tv settings. Changed the video setting to gaming and I hit better now. 2nd thing I focus on is seeing the bat hit the ball. “Or the mitt catch the ball.”
I hit almost every ball, not perfect hits, but slight early or late. The issue inhave is they catch every time, the get ground balls to bases too fast, etc. im loterally never able to actually get someone all the way around.

Going to try the catchers glove idea, I just got into baseball and I'm having a hard time connecting with any pitches. I can hit in Pro Yakyu Spirts just fine though which has a similar batting indicator.
Another tip, if you have paddles, USE THEM. I was playing a sweat who had atleast 6 P5s in a game. I decided for the fun of it to switch to paddle hitting and I haven’t looked back since. I had 4 bombs in one inning right when I switched. Trust me, please

But, any tips with the PcI movement to help? Move it while he’s pitching, flick it to said spot, drag it? Any advice helps please.
I have an issue with backgrounds. I find that some make it hard to see the pitchers release. And the ball… I can barely see it either. Like when I play the Red Sox. I hate their stadium.
I consider myself pretty good at reading balls and strikes in the show, and if I get fooled I still am able to foul the pitch off pretty well….but god, when its on a hard difficulty and a pitcher has a a dirty curve WITH a fast fastball, those curves below the zone become my kryptonite really fast….I try to react to the high fastball in time, next thing I know its hitting the dirt, but when i try to watch the curve, its a fastball up in the zone and its too late to make any contact. I’ve raged many times because of that😂
