- Ride along on a winter flight, enjoying a rare warmish day after a long period of snow and cold. I'll share some thoughts about things to consider when flying in these kinds of airports on this kind of day.

Awesome Keith!!!
Your Cardinal is beautiful. Thank you for another great video.
Very interesting thank you
Great video.
Great to see you Keith. Hope you are well.
Not as cold here. My flight tomorrow will be in the 40’s.
Hi Keith, great vid, have you changed the yokes to 182 ones?, was it an easy swap from the standard?
I've had 206 yokes for years, but these are from a Bonanza, using an adaptor. They connect with 3 screws, so the tech part is easy, but make sure you have your paperwork figured out first.
Hello, very nice video. On the topic of snow removal in a airport community, I assume from your comments that the community hires a plowing service. Thinking about what you shared about the runway lights and tip clearances, has the community ever considered getting a tractor with a blower attachment? Snow placement can be directed so clearances and lighting are protected. Just a thought.
Across my 35 plus years here we've had just a few years where a blower was necessary. In fact for many years we had a pickup trick with a blade to push of the frequent dustings that sometimes come along and only hired out the larger snow dumps. A couple of times they brought Michigan loaders to push back the snow.
We do have a mower tractor, I suppose a used blower would be an option, but not clear it would really save money with our limited use.
Also a factor, since we sometimes use the grass runways for ski planes we might have to be careful where we threw the snow!
@@cardinalflyer Sounds well thought out. Get ready for this season and hopefully it will be light. I live near KRAC.
