As we see in San Andreas, Catalina was all around unhinged and unpredictable. The game is fairly explicit about why Salvatore betrayed. As for Donald Love, he had too much to lose just by disappearing. Either they got him or he was chasing something, that could get him even more. According to some cut files, it is implied the packages Claude was collecting for Donald were actually plates for printing counterfit money.

I’m currently replaying all the GTA games and I’ve just finished GTA 3. This video was great to recap what just happened and better understand the story. Fantastic video and excellent storytelling! ❤
I've only just noticed that in the beginning heist, the other Columbian robber in the hat was shot along with Claude. I never noticed his corpse before, and just assumed it was Miguel who ran ahead of Catalina. It would have been interesting to hear why he was shot too, how Claude felt about, and who he was.
I got this game for Christmas when it first came out .when I was just 17, I am now 37 and am just realizing that Donald love is actually Donald Trump man we do live in a simulation
Rockstar Fact: Claude was actually suppose to be voiced by actor *Mel Gibson* which at the time made since given that GTA 3 is based on his 1999 movie “Payback”. Edit: in the remade editions you can really see some of the likeness of the actor.
Impressive storytelling gotta say! And what's more, you didn't make any mistakes regarding the lore which is admirable 👌Well, apart from one mistake made in the description, Rockstar North (today's DMA Design) is the developer of GTA 3, not Rockstar Games ;)
I haven’t played 3 in like 20 years and so much of the story went over my head then, so having it told this way was way better than just watching cutscenes would’ve been. Really great story telling
Only 4 minutes in an I love it just subscribed! please do more GTA stories. Since GTA 3 it's been my favorite video game franchise the only one I love more is RdR
Brilliant work thanks, definitely wouldn't say no to more GTA stories, some of them are actually really good but I think that gets overlooked due to the chaos and amount of other things you can do in general, the fun factor means the story itself can slip you by so when you're done it's like I enjoyed that but they all seem to morph into one for me at least, probably doesn't help how many times played all of them through over the years
I remember a part in the instruction booklet that said, "In Liberty City the only drity word is hope." Did a pretty good job at describing the City and your narration drove it home. Thanks for the video!
I know absolutely *NOTHING* about the story in this game. I played it when I was 6-7 and I didn’t understand anything really. I remember picking up a hooker which zero idea as to why she got into the car and why she was stealing my money every couple seconds ☠️ Excited to finally see what I was actually doing.
Well summarised man. I have always been curious about the last scene in the game. The gunshot we last heard. Was Claude killing Maria because of her loud mouth, or was it just an in-game sound?
8 balls hands were actually burned from a mission in the gba game gta advanced - I might be wrong because I haven't played gta advanced in a long time, but the mission involved fighting off King Courtney and his hands got burned in the battle
Actually what you said is partially true. After the Battle with King Courtney, police caught him. He was in Shoreside Vale's prison but eventually he was shifted back in Portland in 2001
Bro, this was amazing! It's not just telling the story, but it's putting us in the characters' reality and giving us insight into his mind. If your other rock star game videos are like this, im about to binge, lol.

Brilliant game, brilliant narration. Good job, dude!
Good job my man. Took me back to when life was good
I haven’t played 3 in like 20 years and so much of the story went over my head then, so having it told this way was way better than just watching cutscenes would’ve been. Really great story telling
Thank you
This is amazing 😊 I hope you're gonna do Vice City, San Andreas etc? 🤔 lol
This was a frfr movie daaaamn loved the video man even when I beat gta 3 a million times and understand the plot
I love this video. If you keep making these I'll watch them from start to finish. 🔥
I remember picking up a hooker which zero idea as to why she got into the car and why she was stealing my money every couple seconds ☠️
Excited to finally see what I was actually doing.
Chatterbox was fuckin amazing
Well summarised man. I have always been curious about the last scene in the game. The gunshot we last heard. Was Claude killing Maria because of her loud mouth, or was it just an in-game sound?
It was a bug that the dev left out, so its basically open for interpretation what happen to Maria.
Thus is my first video I've seen from you. Now love your voice, it reminds me so much of the narrator in Little Big Planet!
He was in Shoreside Vale's prison but eventually he was shifted back in Portland in 2001
Thank you bro lol I could only remember King Courtney
For the island prison in Portland.
@@elperrodelautumo7511 no for the Prison near the Hospital 😂😂😂
This is amazing!
Claude would probably say something like as a great review!
Claude:
Please cover the entire GTA series like this. I'll become a Patron member if you do.
UA-cam Al led me to your channel, and this was ART. You've gained a sub. I really hope you eventually tackle the other GTA games!!!
Sir! I'm impressed! The quality is on point🤝 We need the same level on other GTA's
I was 6 years old with no idea what was going on. I just knew it was fun
Bro, this was amazing! It's not just telling the story, but it's putting us in the characters' reality and giving us insight into his mind. If your other rock star game videos are like this, im about to binge, lol.
So no one’s gonna ask if he shot maria or used it to shut her up?
If he did cap her, he had a reason. It was her fault he fell out of favor with the Leone's.
This video makes story sound so much more serious than it actually is😂 awesome video , voice was like straight from some druglord tv show documentary lol

Nice content! Really likeable. Watching good 'ol GTA 3 told as a movie. Best I've seen here on UA-cam for a long time. Thank you!
GTA 3 great memories PS2
Feel like I was watching Discovery Channel but it's about GTA 3 very well done
Amazing run down of an iconic and groundbreaking game.
Claude is the definition of "I drive"
8-Balls hands were damaged in GTA Advance not with hot fat btw
I had a psp as a kid so I never got the story fully. But the bridge being out because they blew it up finally answers a question I’ve had for so long
I also didn’t have a memory card so I’d just start playing get as far into the game as possible maybe like 5-6 missions and if my psp died or the game restarted I had to start from scratch. I wish I could just hand my younger self an SD card right now.
