There is one rule in Pakistan: SOLAR SYSTEMS ARE WORTH INSTALLING EVEN IF THE COST OF A 10KW SYSTEM IS 25 LACK RUPEES. This is because the WAPDA's 100 rupee/unit from this cypher-military administration is absolutely outrageous.
If you do your own procurement of at least the panels, inverter, breakers and wires, then the rate will be around 2 lacks less than what is being quoted by "solar companies". Some people have even saved 3-4 lacks. I recommend that solar buyers should educate themselves about the finest details about this system, before actually installing.

It depends on the route as well but roughly it can be around 1.8-1.9m

10kw produces 1000 units minimum
Average is around 1200 units. So if your consumption is around 600 then you need a 10kw system for zero bill
@@PakRef better go for hybrid. Government policy can be changed at any time
You can also add inverters in hybrid to go fully off grid in phase wise investment.
Mine is generating 1800 units a month...with 18 x 585 jinko bifacial and 10kw Solis inverter...in Rawalpindi
