Bondi Rescue follows the work of the elite professional Lifeguards who patrol Australia’s busiest beach. This is Australia’s real life Baywatch! Taking the viewers on their journey through mass rescues, drownings, resuscitations, shark sightings, and all number of the weird and wonderful experiences Bondi Beach dishes up.
In #BondiRescue the audience sees the action through the eyes of real characters and #lifeguards like Hoppo, Deano, Reidy, Jesse, Maxi, Whippet and Harries, as they catch thieves, perform CPR, make drug busts, break up fights, and even handle a navy bomb that washes ashore one afternoon. Every year throws up new and completely unexpected challenges, and how lifeguards adapt is what makes Bondi Rescue a show that’s about much more than swimmers being saved in the surf.

My daughter participated in Surfers Healing a couple of times. The surfers that volunteer for these events for kids are amazing. I have enjoyed watching surfing events for years now because of those amazing surfers. Loved that episode. ❤️

Do you men the indigenous people? I live in Western Australia, and we have a large indigenous community where I am. So they haven't "gone" away.

@@reneadams6938 everyone is allowed at the beach, but a series of traumatic events committed on the indigenous people here lowered their population levels pretty drastically some couple hundred years ago.
It's only recently that our government made a public admittal and apology for our crimes against the indigenous community, and acknowledging the original custodians of the land is one way we can all make our own reparations to them. Indigenous people certainly aren't rare, but you can see the strange dynamic there!

@@reneadams6938 No offense taken, it's a fair question ☺️
Generally they don't look any different, and you do see a number of indigenous peoples pop up throughout the show. It's generally low population numbers, specifically in this area, and the effects of the Stolen Generation which caused a lot of mixing between people and made it difficult for people to know whether they were indigenous or not.
So, it's a complicated issue, but there's plenty of indigenous people on-site. We generally see the victims and troublemakers on the show, which doesn't usually include that particular ethnic group.

Thank u make me happy when I watch you I may only buy 13 but I lost my grandad 6 years ago because he drowned I've been depressed since I lost him and have always never liked swimming because I've had to much trauma
