Bondi Rescue follows the work of the elite professional Lifeguards who patrol Australia’s busiest beach. This is Australia’s real life Baywatch! Taking the viewers on their journey through mass rescues, drownings, resuscitations, shark sightings, and all number of the weird and wonderful experiences Bondi Beach dishes up.
In #BondiRescue the audience sees the action through the eyes of real characters and #lifeguards like Hoppo, Deano, Reidy, Jesse, Maxi, Whippet and Harries, as they catch thieves, perform CPR, make drug busts, break up fights, and even handle a navy bomb that washes ashore one afternoon. Every year throws up new and completely unexpected challenges, and how lifeguards adapt is what makes Bondi Rescue a show that’s about much more than swimmers being saved in the surf.

They should only let a certain number of people on the beach every day. That would help tremendously! I'm sure the lifeguards are overwhelmed!

idk why the massive crowds around the injured people bother me so much but if there was a massive crowd around me while I was severely injured on the beach I think I’d rather die than have to sit there and let them watch

What do you mean idk why? It's normal to feel that way, they're too nosy and they're a nuisance. Even worse when they film. There are tons of people who are completely unaware of how inappropriate they're being.

I'm not gonna lie.. If my partner pushed a child off a board during panicking, I think I'd leave them!! I don't think I could handle being with someone who I know prioritises themselves so strongly in a desparate situation...
I agree with what you say,I would have reported him for pushing the boy off his board to the lifegaurds .What happened to Kerrbox?I haven't seen him at all in the last 3 seasons.
@@BrianKitching-wv5nh It says he went to court for stalking and intimation (of his ex, I believe) in 2019 so I don't know if that was the end of his tv appearances..
It's amazing what a fight, flight or freeze panic reactions can do to you. in that exact moment I guarantee you he wasn't thinking clearly at all, much less registering that he was putting that kid in danger. There's a reason why it is considered dangerous to try and help a struggling drowning person. because in their moment of panic to stay above the water they might grab and push YOU down. It's not an active decision its instinct.

Dangerous situations show people for what they are. I've had eye-opening experiences. But I will say from experience panicked people are dangerous to everyone around them.

Watching them save that kid from Korea was absolutely impressive. No words.
Suggestion- put some decoy bags with AirTags in them on the beach (make sure you can lock up the bags.) Makes the decoy more appealing. Then track the device to the stash

I understand the giys in blue make the call on the shark alarm. And that the volunteers should communicate before doing so. But if you see something and figure out what it is, then you have the high ground. Why not tell the vols that you spotted it and you will keep an eye on it? Communication works both ways.

wait i got a question for the aussie’s, here in canada it’s christmas dinner is the one where families get together, so is it more popular / normal for you to have a christmas lunch then a christmas dinner? i don’t know to me personally that sounds so odd but in a sense it doesn’t matter as long as you all are happy. love the videos keep up the work bondi life guards

It kind of depends, some families will have dinner, some families will have lunch.
But I’d say lunch is most popular.
Always depends on the individuals of course, but almost everyone I know including my own family has Christmas lunch instead of dinner.

why would anyone want to go to a beach with so many, i could never relax with that many. id choose to find a remote area but im not a swimmer and rare go to beach but when i do more remote the better

I thought the same thing, but I went to a beach in the uk called Brighton last year that’s known for getting insanely busy in the summer. And honestly? Didn’t even notice it once we were there. We were early enough to get some space and everyone kind of divides their own areas off.
Didn’t feel too hectic, but then we saw pictures of it later and it looked like human soup!
$400 for an ambulance? Mine was $4,000 in the US! Not a helicopter, a regular bus. It's ridiculous here.

All these years why not have some beach anchored floats to block off any areas where rips are a concern? Im genuinely confused by that. Its a simple solution. Add to the current sign "$500 fine" bet those rescues in those areas will practically disappear.

That is not a kelpie. It's definitely a labrador mix with maybe some kelpie, but kelpies don't have that build, thick tail or floppy ears.

Shameful gawking that goes on. Providing the person is receiving appropriate help you can go back and sit down. It is a shock to see someone in distress but clear ways are important.
