Just received this today. Getting a collection from this publisher it seems and this after only about three months into my board game adventures. Love the channel by the way! Thank you so much!
Viewing the box cover had me wondering, Hollandspiele is based in Detroit Michigan? I always thought they were based in Europe....shows what little I know....
Site FAQ: Are you a Dutch or German company? Nope, we are based in the United States, in the Detroit area. The name Hollandspiele is derived from Mary's last name [Holland-Russell], and also because we thought it would be funny if the name made it sound like we were a company from Europe. That's probably a gag that has diminishing returns, but that's never stopped us before.
I'm rather fond of DGs Air Wars mini-games. Usually, I don't care for plane games (GDW's Air Superiority, I'm looking at you), but DG's mini-games just hits the right spot for me. Not sure about this one tho... Your shirt looks great! Tell your ol' lady we said "Thanx!!"
It's the same system as Downtown and Elusive Victory, I believe (which I've read, but not played). I'm hoping a 'modern' rulebook will be a bit better.

Thanks, Alexander! 😘
Interesting review. Building air raid squadrons and stealth bomber chits are tempting features...Danger Zone!

You're not the only one. I thought the same when I first heard the name.

Its good to know that I'm not the only one who adds sound effects to their gaming experience.
See: X-Wing, and Phantom Leader.

Looking forward to your take on GMT's Red Storm, too.
Opened it up a few days ago. Whew! That's gonna take some learnin'!

@@ThePlayersAid Yes, it's the same system. More complicated due to the increased tech over previous ones I imagine, though.
nice review
Thanks
