Jazakumullahu khayran, may Allah reward you.
Quran 72:18 “And [He revealed] that the masjids are for Allah, so do not invoke with Allah anyone.”
Also, when the angels will drive people away from the حوض and the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم will wonder why, Allah will tell him that he doesn't know what they did after he died. How can الشيخ سالك then claim that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم knows the unseen and knows everything that will happen until the people of paradise enter paradise and the people of the fire enter the fire?
الحمد لله, we AhleSunnah are with you Sheikh. May Allah preserve all of our Righteous Ulema e Kiraam.
The sheikh is sunni ...ashaari/maturidi in aqeedah and one of 4 imams in fiqh and if u want u can join a tareeqa ..these are sunni islam....am still laymen muslim and learning...i believe i shud go to traditional sunni scholar to learn about islam...
Sufis are not Ahlu Sunnah
@@hatimnasser4816 So Salahuddin Ayyubi (ra) was not from Ahlus Sunnah according to you? Think about what you're saying.

"Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers" (Qur'an 5:72)
Who's associating with Allah?
@@justneedlife2001 leave him bro he is ignorant not even understand quran , may allah save us from this type of evil people
Ibn 'Abbas (RA) narrated: "I was behind the Prophet (peace be upon him) one day when he said: 'O boy! I will teach you a statement: Be mindful of Allah and He will protect you. Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him before you. When you ask, ask Allah, and when you seek aid, seek Allah's aid.
You are the Ignorant one N Sayyed, This is clear shirk.
Allah say in the Quran Surah Jinn vs 18: And the mosques are for Allah (Alone), so invoke not anyone along with Allah.
Narrated `Aisha and Ibn `Abbas:
On his death-bed Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) put a sheet over his-face and when he felt hot, he would remove it from his face. When in that state (of putting and removing the sheet) he said, "May Allah's Curse be on the Jews and the Christians for they build places of worship at the graves of their prophets." (By that) he intended to warn (the Muslim) from what they (ie Jews and Christians) had done.
This brother is misguided we ask Allah to guide him.
@@justneedlife2001 tye Mushrikoon and Quraysh and Christians and
I think the topic which we touch here is very interesting and subtle. What sheikh is speaking about is essentially a belief, that in case of the Prophet(saws) and awliya' there is some kind of metaphysical connection between Barzakh and Dunya and Akhira and therefore rightous people who are staying in Barzakh can influence issues in Dunya by the grace bestowed upon them by Allah or even influence certain things in Akhira by the power of their spiritual connection to Allah (for example ensure someone's entrance to Jannah etc).
So according to this view, asking them directly is not shirk, because they can hear us and it is simply the same as asking someone who is alive, there is no mention of their divinity or (a'udhu billah) partnership with Allah. They can help by themself but only by permission and mercy of Allah just as a king can do many things or a powerful politician or even simply a rich person. The logic of this view is based on the idea, that it would be inappropriate to admit, that the powerful of this world can do so much and The Prophet (saws) can do nothing for his ummah right now. For those traditional scholars this view seems to be blasphemous and same thought process happens in the case of awliya.
While this view may be somehow defendable, it opens doors to many slippery slopes, because if we can ask Prophet (saws) and awliya' then what about Jesus and Mary? Also how can we know who is a wali and who is not? And also there remains the very basic question - why would we ask ANYONE beside Allah when we have no certainity about their capabilities? If we ask a president or a king for something then we ask, because we are certain that this person is capable of helping us. But if I start asking The Prophet (saws) or awliya then what guarantee I have that they can make this particular wish come true? We may easily end up like catholics who have different saints with different "powers" and depending on your need you can pray to one of them, which is crazy.
Also another question: Why didn't Prophet (saws) ask other prophets in his lifetime? Why we don't have a single narration where he would say "O Ibrahim! Help me!" or "O Ayyub! Please save me!".
That's why in this issue I prefer to stay on the safe side and follow opinion of sheikh Yasir Qadhi- asking Prophet(saws) directly or awliya is haram, and it leads to shirk, but its not a shirk in itself and we shall not make takfir on people who do it.
Totally agree with u brother. Vast scholars disagree with sheikh Salek. Hold the position that istagatha from unseen whether that’s the prophet ﷺ,the people who died, the jinns even. All that is Haram and act of shirk
This isgatha practice done by few Muslims is similar to the Mushrikoon and Quraysh . I have posted many Quranic evidences in the comments.
(ﷺ)
Quran “Say, [O Muhammad], "Have you considered that which you invoke besides Allah? Show me what they have created of the earth; or did they have partnership in [creation of] the heavens? Bring me a scripture [revealed] before this or a [remaining] trace of knowledge, if you should be truthful."
Subhanallah...
This understanding and belief is also what the great mujaddid IMAM Ahmed Raza Khan teach, and defend against the blasphemous writings of the Ahle hadees and their associated deobandi school...
Deobandi are not ahlul hadith yes i know there are differances ...they dont agree to ask from prophet saw (i dont know the full explanation)...but wat i want to know is does someone who hold a different opinion of this have deviated?am afraid of using this type of istighata so would many layman muslim...so thats why am asking if i can stick with the other interpretation?i am having though of learning with students of imam ahmad raza khan
@@tazboy1934 There is no problem in not doing istigatha and one should follow the middle path when in doubt. So if you are not sure don't do it.
Problem arises when someone calls another muslim a mushrik just because he uses prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) 's waseela in his dua.
As for the difference with Salafis there are numerous differences between Salafis and Ahle Sunnat the major one being anthropomorphism. Ahle Sunnat do not belive in attributing human attributes to Allah
@@tazboy1934 bro deobandis accept isthighasa but only in certain conditions like being at the rawda muburak of Rasulallah ﷺ
Understanding of shirk. No difference with the mushrikeen of Mecca.
“Call upon me,I will respond to you.” Quran
Quran “If you invoke them, they do not hear your supplication; and if they heard, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association. And none can inform you like [one] Acquainted [with all matters].”
Quran :”And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible.”
What about asking another prophet for help besides the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)?
Asking the prophet ﷺ for something is shirk
Another thing that's bothering me is... why should I ask Allah at all, then? I can always ask Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم to get all my duas answered.
And if I want, can't I ask عيسى عليه السلام as well? Don't some of the Christians do that? They're also extremely righteous and from the
Stop!! Stop 🛑! Invoking other than الله .dua, praying to other than الله is Shirk!
“Say ,”I only invoke my Lord and do not associate anyone with him.” Quran 72:20
“You alone we worship, and you alone we seek help.” Quran Fatiha
“ He who associates others with الله has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin.” Quran
Because Allah told me in Quran to only invoke him
Your close to shirk. Stop 🛑. Stop invoking other than الله!
If u believe the messenger of God has independent powers, or has independent authority to help you. That’s shirk and takes one out of Islam.
Making dua, invoking the messenger of God is shirk. “Dua is worship “
No difference between you and Christians. Both of you ask humans instead of asking Allah.
This corrupt so called scholar with his corrupt Aqeeda making people Aqeeda corrupt. You can only ask Allah SWT for help, not people not even prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.
Technically and spiritually false.
We have the people of ahul bida3 in Islam, than we have these people who teach shirk and kufir
شرك
Shirk . Prophet ﷺ has no control and authority over universe.
Nor does me know the unseen
As if we ask America to grant us a child and admit us in paradise! What a foolish argument.
Least proof =
Why should I ask a prophet who is dead and not ask my Lord who is ever-living? How can a dead person give anything?
To claim Rasulallah ﷺ is “dead” is a kufr statement.
@@mughal_r9374Prove your claim.

DO NOT THINK of those who have been killed in God’s way as dead. They are alive with their Lord, recieving provision.
Aal-E-Imran, Ayah 169
Do you reject this ayah?
No one killed the Prophet...
@@mughal_r9374 And for the sake of argument, even if someone did, this ayah does not refer to life in this world. Martyrs are still dead in this world, but alive in another realm.
This doesnt even have basis in the ashari and maturidi schools. This is nonsense from extreme sufi's. May Allah humiliate the callers to shirk akbar.
