Water filtration vacuums are the best bagless option. However, Rainbows are the gold standard of water filtration vacuums but it’s a kind of a shame that it’s an MLM.
Hello, we had a Rainbow rep last night, although I am familiar with Rainbow since my mom owned one for 20 years, I feel that $5,100 is excessively expensive. I did not buy it. We are probably buying Sirena. I think Im sold
I had a Rainbow for 15 years, someone stole it and it's the best vacuum in the world if you can afford to buy it. We bought Sirena last year and we were very happy, it really does almost the same job as the Rainbow, BUT... it's obviously a cheaper version of the rainbow vacumm and the consequence is that it breaks down faster. The accessories that it comes with are poor quality, you might only notice that if you've owned a Rainbow before. Sirena says that you have certain guarantees on the accessories ( tools ), equipment and power nozzle for a certain time... What they don't tell you in the ads is that "they do fix what's broken", but ONLY if you pay the shipping, which when you check it's more expensive to ship it than to buy it new, THERE YOU GO ! that's the catch. They have only one person in customer service, and he is not very friendly, plus he doesn't give you many options ( Either you pay the shipping cost or you buy a new one from the website without a shipping cost ). Reading the warranty it says that you can take it to a place where they are accredited to fix Sirena and they will not charge you, which is a lie. You have to pay too. Until now, I have not been able to use the power nozzle hose for months to clean my carpet. Now we have two power nozzle hoses that don't work. It's been just a year and I can't imagine how much am I gonna keep spending because we couldn't afford Rainbow. My point is that if you have the money, BUY A RAINBOW, you will spend more in fixing what it's broken over the years with Sirena, otherwise you should definitely buy a Sirena because it's better than any regular vacuum cleaners, it does the job of Rainbow vacumm but with poorer quality. What it's important about these two cleaning equipments is that you can feel a cleaner air and it will clean deeper and better than regular vacuums for sure, and it'll help you specifically if you have asthma, pets or allergies. BTW, Rainbow didn't pay me to write this review. I'm just being honest with my experience using Sirena vaccum. There's a reason why the reviews are turned off. I'm pretty sure my review will be deleted.
This is a very honest comment review. I only delete comments that are vulgar and have no value to a consumer out there trying to make a decision on purchasing the right vacuum for them. Thank you for your post.
I appreciate that Phillip R. Because Sirena deleted this exact comment everywhere and turned off comments for me. Thank you for letting me express my experience with Sirena this year.
Hi, I have own this vacuum for almost 5 months now and I agree, the hose could be longer. I also wish the power head had a gear belt instead of a conventional belt. I wish the head had some LED's to see under the bed and sofa and other furniture. I wish it had a rewindable cord, considering its size, they should be able to put one in. I wish they could also find a way to lower the noise when its on the low setting. I wish the brush roll was a bit stiffer a a beater bar to shake the floor more. It is definitely great for the price when comparing it to the Rainbow, but there is still room for improvement.
I have a 30 + year old rainbow, the carpet power nozzle is dead. Cant find replacement parts because its so old. I use to as our car vacuum. Want to purchase another water vacuum but seen the New Rainbows are poorly made, how does this Sirena compare to a Prolux Ctx?
I almost bought one but there were no videos really other than yours so it made me feel a little uncomfortable about durability. I went with the rainbow E2 refurb for $800 because of part availability. I am good at fixing things so I should never have to buy a vacuum again. I can just repair the one I got thanks to youtube videos.
What do you mean, "All the dust goes back into the house?" With my good old (yes, it's old, alright, but it still does a decent job) Shark NV400, each and every time I empty the dust cup, unfortunately, I do see a few dust particles escape, but not all of them by far. Then again, whoever uses a bagless vacuum, they know what I'm talking about. If you're not careful, then yes, a lot of dust will escape...
When it comes to Sirena - How is the customer service? I had great luck with Rainbow customer service ? - How serviceable is the unit ? Is this something DIYers could electrically troubleshoot and make repairs? - How durable is this? Are the wheels going to hold up in n the driveway rolling it around to vacuum my car?
I have had great customer service. So far I have had no problems after the year with the unit. I do wish I water tank was more durable. You have to be careful. The plastic seems like it would crack if dropped from even low distances
Thank you for posting your follow up video bro! Soo juiced to buy one! We’re also getting the Twister, the stationary air purifier 😁😁 The Sirena is currently on sale for 698 as well as the Twister being on a bundle sale for 79, comes with an extra hepa filter and a deodorizer! 782.97 Sirena vs 4000 dollar Rainbow FOR THE SAME FUNCTIONALITY, a no brainer guys
I use a shark now. I like them because they’re durable, for the most part. Mines being held together with duct tape. but it does the job.. I have to replace them every 6-8 months. which I’m fine doing so. But if this is better I’m willing to spend the extra money if it will stick with me for atleast 2-3 years.
I have faith the motor of the Sirena would hold up. Using it as for a business everyday hauling it in and out to houses. My concern is the water canister. The plastic is not as durable as it should be and can easily crack if dropped or hit.
Hi! I have watched your Sirena videos and they helped me make my decision to buy a sirena. I did have some issues with one of the customer service gentlemen and have scoured youtube trying to find an answer to my question. When you use the electric power nozzle, does the belt turn as long as you have the handle compressed, or does the belt stop turning on the back pull?
@@PhillipBridgesReviews thank you for responding. I hold the trigger the whole time and brush turns only when i push the head forward, when i pull it back it stops, however the trigger is still pressed.
We just got it and I LOVE it!!! Never thought I'd look forward to cleaning 😂 I do have a dumb question probably. But when they say don't store it on the basin. Do they mean the water basin or the black little tray we snap it into? I just don't wanna mess anything up. So basically how do you store yours when you're not using it?
You want to kerp the water basin separate from the machine when storing so the residual moisture doesn't make your machine mouldy and wreck your machine. But you do keep it on the cart.
Best cleaning vac And Air cleaner. This this is the second Sirena. The prior one had electrical issues. The connections to power brush and electrical nozzle burnt and melted because of on going problem that was not resolved.
Oh and one more thing. For the new machines they offer a 30 day 100% satisfaction money back guarantee. I wonder if the re-certified units have the same conditions? does anyone here know?
I was almost ready to order one, than I watched this review and realized I would not be able to comfortably use it because if the weight and water tank precautions. I am weak and gave arthritis. I have seven cats and a dog and I need an excellent vacuum to handle the hair, that is light, easy to maneuver and is made without any toxic or carcinogenic materials. Do you have any suggestions? I would really appreciate your advice.
Hello, I would look into maybe something like a Dyson. There cordless models are light weight and easy to maneuver. Though they would have to be emptied more often due to having a small canister. I also own the upright Dyson Animal Pro. The corded model. It has a great hose to extend to hard to reach places and has some nice pet hair attachments. I hope this helps a bit.
Does it have a carpet shampooer attachment like the rainbow does? Also is there a filter? With the water it shouldn't need a filter right since the water play role of the filter?
It does not have a carpet shampooer. It has a small hepa filter on the units exhaust for non water soluble particles. It only needs to be washed every few months. Other than that the water filters every. Hopefully that answered some of your questions. 😀
As long as you get the same warranty with it. I don’t see a problem going with refurbished. I have had good and bad experiences in buying refurbished items. It all depends on the company fixing the items to resell. Seems everyone has there own opinion on buying or why not to buy refurbished stuff.
@@PhillipBridgesReviews ok i ordered from sirena website itself with the same 10 yr warranty. It's my first time buying refurbished so hopefully it will work fine. Thanks
I am very sorry I purchased this vacuum. Works great. filtration great. cleans great, all as expected except the removal of the tank when changing the water horrendously difficult and reason enough not to get this unit. Extremely poorly designed and takes 2 people to successfully remove the unit and separate it from the tank.
My big question is the HEPA filter. The whole purpose to go to the water vacuum is to get rid of these filters that clog and cause suction loss. I have two long haired dogs that shed like Yetis. Every vacuum will pick up the hair out of the box, and ALL of these demos are always with new vacuums. So that doesn't impress me. But six months after owning and using, every vacuum is USELESS. No matter the vacuum, or the price or how much it says BEST VACUUM for pet hair. None, not even the expensive Dyson Animal. Do I clean the filters like I should? No. Do I clean them some? Yes. So if this vacuum uses water AND the HEPA filter, then it WILL clog. However, from all the demos I've been watching, the HEPA looks like it's just for cleaning the hose after a water pick up and maybe for purifying the air. Is that true? And if it is for purifying the air, how does the dog hair and larger particles get through. Thanks in advance!
The Hepa is only for the exhaust of the vacuum. I have a Great Pyrenean’s dog. They she’d like crazy. This vac picks it up no problem after a year of use. I have only cleaned the hepa once and it was slightly discolored.
I don’t have a promo code but I received an email from them May 2-3 save 200$ on a Sierra Vacuum system for the Anniversary special through there website.
