Saw Marlon and the Yarra Benders at the Civic in Auckland last night. Fourth time seeing him and he just gets better and better. Such realness, huge natural talent and charisma with a cheeky sparkle and that beaming smile. He brought the Friday night party to the Civic, that's for sure 🌟 🤩 ⭐

What an amazing musician! Since I first heard Marlon’s music over a month or so ago, I have been on a Marlon magical musical tour from his early alt/country roots to his current alternative/indie songs. The common element in all of his music is his spellbinding voice-for example, his studio version of “Arahura” is mesmerizing. I have a pretty vast and diverse set of playlists on UA-cam, and I have recently added many of Marlon’s tunes to my playlists. One huge disappointment for me is that Marlon actually toured in Vancouver, my home, at the Hollywood Theatre, but I never knew his music then, so I missed out. I fervently hope he makes another tour of Canada, and stops in Vancouver again, but this time books the most revered of all Vancouver music venues, The Commodore, for his performance. Cheers and keep on making beautiful music Marlon!
