I don’t like the idea that when chef wants to make an ultra good dish they just throw more caviar and Truffle on top of it. I feel that’s a lack of Creativity. Even if you throw Caviar or truffle or even gold on top of an average pasta, it’s still an average pasta.
The only chefs who did this who I do respect are the Tokyo Dog lads. The only reason they made that hot dog was to break the record, they sell it for cheaper than it was to make it,and they give the money to charity.
But if truffle and caviar compliments the dish, why not? Where have you heard of an aged quail egg soufflé before? It took them a month and a half to nail the creative process behind it so it wasn’t like they were lazy about it. But I get you. Thomas Portaneri maybe the caviar is so expensive because of how good it tastes? And i also don’t think gold leaf is all that expensive, i think i found it online for pretty cheap (because its so thin and such a small amount) but i could be wrong.
@Thomas : agreed! a lot of worth it videos just showed it how a lot of 'specially expensive' menu is just a basic menu + gold leaves + truffles + caviar + lobster 😂 one that I like is Worth it! Fish. The gold is not what makes it expensive tbh. You can get 30 small sheets of 24 karat gold leaf for less than 10 bucks on amazon. Chefs just use that as an excuse to ask for ridiculous prices.
Idea for next season: worth it worldwide. Imagine them going to different countries around the world and trying a typical dish of each country. I think that'd be cool.
Hearing the French accent of the chef was so good for me actually. Being a Swiss and you are watching all the Americans then boom someone who speaks French (even you just see it through the accent )is just great for me.
@@commentmachine1457 well that’s a big generalisation. Sure a lot of high end restaurants use French techniques but that’s because the French are some of the best chefs in the world and not a lot of high end places serve only food with gold, truffle and caviar.

Adam: *takes a bite*
Andrew: You wanna keep that?
Adam: *nods*
Me: awwwww
Mary Vanlalhriatpuii Adam is the best part of this series 💕
7:13 best moment ever
I love adam😂
#awkwardadam
Just posted the very same comment before actually seeing I'm not the only one finding Adam so cute
“We didn’t know it would be the most expensive soufflé”
Makes soufflé cost 2,500$:
So happy to see how Steven and Andrew's friendship has grown so much👩👦👦
''You love it cuz it hasn't crushed your soul yet''
Lol, Andrew knows the struggle.
I love how the bromance has blossomed over the series
Everyone: it's crisp,light, soft...
Adam: it's match with ur sweater....
Idea for next season: worth it worldwide. Imagine them going to different countries around the world and trying a typical dish of each country. I think that'd be cool.
imritaa that would be awesome.
i believe they actually went to south korea with evan.. the episode is not up yet but yeh they were filming something in south korea
imritaa YES!!
imritaa I don't think the Worth it videos have enough views to affort for that
They have plenty of money, they have over 70 million views on only the Worth It series by itself.
finally Adam said a full sentence other than just smiling, he is cute .
"Was"
Is* cute
Why is there always a grammar Nazis?
Adaia Perez maybe she/he used to think he was cute but doesn't anymore...?
Adaia Perez when Adam smiles I'm just here like
Me: Please don't.. I can't take it you're too cute 😍🙈😍
geez with all of the edible gold you guys have had so far, you pass a 24 karat gold turd yet.
time to search the sewers again...
that is some MAGIC
Hearing the French accent of the chef was so good for me actually. Being a Swiss and you are watching all the Americans then boom someone who speaks French (even you just see it through the accent )is just great for me.
ADAM SAID A FULL SENTENCE!!!
Adam is what makes worth it, worth it...
Rebel Tina they all make worth it, worth it
This video is cancer
2manymemes 4me At least the cancer can stop circulating, it finally reached its destination
WOW !!! What a SURPRISE the expensive one had caviar AND gold ....... I didn't expect that 😶👌🏼
batlah alnejadi shame IT didnt have truffels
It would have added extra $500 dollars if he put truffles in it.
chefs in high end restaurants these days are just cowards hiding behind french techniques and expensive materials.
batlah alnejadi same, but it didn't have truffles
@@commentmachine1457 well that’s a big generalisation. Sure a lot of high end restaurants use French techniques but that’s because the French are some of the best chefs in the world and not a lot of high end places serve only food with gold, truffle and caviar.
Lol every cook who is at the most expensive restaurant has an accent
"you love it now because it isn't crushed your soul yet."
all of the truth right here
+Joyce Leong Then why do so many New Yorkers loudly and proudly boast that New York is the greatest city on earth non-stop?
No truer words have been spoken, man.
if anything's expensive, it's either because of the caviar or the truffle.
Elizabeth Li the cognac too
or gold
these gold sheets cost 10 bucks per 20 sheets they are incredibly thin look it up
there are way more exspensive stuff, for example, fresh wasabiroot is way more expensive than truffle
Elizabeth Li or gold
"I need you to enunciate peanut sauce a little better for me" 😂😂😂
Grace Marx yea cuz it definitely sounds like penis sauce lol
+
XQuizit Monroe
- Good job, you got the joke.
So full of internet win
Grace Marx peanu se
One of my favorite pregnancy cravings was peanut butter on a bacon burger with extra pickles lmao
Adam is low key the heart of this show
highkey****
he's so precious 😩😩😍
Adam is the Loki to my Thor

Daene Luna where did you hear that?!?!?!
Did anyone notice that adam finally got a full meal
XPayneX yes!

I was so happy!!!
I haven't seen that part yet but i got excited reading he got to eat a full meal hahaha
Hes had plenty of full meals lol. Its all cut off.
Fun fact: Shake Shack and Gramercy Tavern have the same founder. Danny Meyer
Nick's Dynasty "fun face"
well that's disappointing
Nick's Dynasty cool
When Steven say he's family from Malaysia my heart is like 'omg my twins'
