After watching your video I just had to buy one! It arrived today, along with the DNA air filter, and I already installed them. Ohhhhhh maaaan, it completely changed the bike! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! It sounds AMAZING!!! I agree with the placebo effect but I have just riden it for a couple of miles. Yet to be properly tested but darn, now everyone hears me coming! 1000 thanks!!! 🙌🙌🙌😁😁😁

Hot damn, your glee is infectious! I was all for giving up on the Himalayan and going for an Interceptor, but this and the air filter mod look like the way forward :-D
Cheers mate! It makes a big difference but in saying that the Interceptor is my favourite bike of all time and ive ridden quite a few bikes
Definitely abit quicker bro along with high flow air filter.Less restrictions on air flow going in & less restrictions going out definitely increases torque by 4-5Nm & 1-2hp.I gained 7kmh & bike went from 158kmh max to 165kmh on Inty but it was the mid range performance that made a big difference.
Yeah bro! Air filter vid is out soon! I did it without the exhaust so i could notice the difference more it makes the himmy way faster was getting 125 max on the clock now im getting 140 although its ringing its ass off at that speed 🤣

But the fuel consumption increases. You get significantly lesser mileage.

For my 2002 Honda Shadow 600cc VLX, I paid a few dollars for a hole saw and removed the stock back muffler baffle, then rejetted the carb.

Sounds awesome.. I rode a 2019 demo which had one fitted, didn't really appreciate the true sound nor blast on what got as a 30 minute urban ride, main was sat in traffic..! but the pop on over run.. wicked.. read the details.. BSAU stamp and is road legal when using the baffle provided.. some UK counties are hot on noise so how far it gets Policed..!
Even with the baffle it's a result just on weight saving as most report.

Speed cameras, ever Lowering limits and Congestion/Emission Zones are more an issue nowadays.

I have read that On the Euro 5 you can get a check engine light. Not sure how accurate that is.
Yeah mate hopefully theres a way around that! Love the euro 5 the only thing that put me off was that ive also fitted a dna air filter and i managed to get the bike up to 140kmh on the dash might be a bit less as speedos always lie but cool to see i actually got a bit of a power gain! I was struggling to get 120 beforehand

I would say so bro along with the air filter i can get it to hit 140kmph on the right conditions and sound is fine as long as you have the db killer in it sounds almost the same to stock plus its lighter 😃
Nice Brother Vinny ,, the backfiring , she is sucking cold air into the muffler from somewhere ? , thats what causes it , oxygen mixing with un-burnt fuel in the exhaust causing combustion . pop , pop , pop ,, but yes it sounds sweet .
On the baffles , I do the same with my CFMoto mufflers . decibel reducer's ,,,,, but mostly zero reducers .

Could it be the air injection system for emissions? My stock bike pops and crackles, albeit not loud. Only reason I’ve kept it stock is that I don’t want loud and I haven’t felt the need for more power. Was great watching this video to see an aftermarket muffler that’s almost as quiet as stock if you leave the baffle in. Certainly, if anything a good weight saving is worth it alone. I wonder how much it’ll cost to get one of these to Australia.

Did you do that before or after you fitted the DNA filter? What was the difference in performance with both mods fitted?
After the DNA filter, The filter was quite a noticable difference already and the exhaust topped it off plus shaved some weight and gave it a more throaty sound

Always handle with gloves oil from your hand can cause discoloration
