The editing just keeps getting better!
"Pillagers may spawn on any valid opaque block as long as the sky light level is 11 or lower, and the block light level is 8 or lower, but can also spawn on grass or sand blocks regardless of sky light level." - wiki. Hope that helps 😊 not sure if it's been updated w the new spawning algorithm tho!

The waterwheel turned out great! The river is pretty sick too. Also the plans for the new area sound really exciting; can't wait to see what all you do with it.
If you can't stop the pillagers, maybe turn that area into an arena of sorts; where they only spawn within a contained area.

Now, I may be a month late to this video, and this suggestion might be mildly insane, but iron blocks in your texture pack make for some really good white bricks... It'd be interesting to see a build with them, and maybe some quartz too...

As far as I told responding goes I believe you need to spawn proof around The Outpost something like 70 some blocks it's quite ridic...
